‘Satyamev
Jayate’ – a conscience-awakening show
Aamir Khan’s
‘Satyamev Jayate’ undoubtably is a very appealing show. You don’t fail to feel
emotional while watching the show. So superbly does Aamir conduct the show.
Aamir certainly knows the knack of winning the hearts of the audiences. He has
succeeded in conveying to the audiences that message he intended to pass on to
them by conducting this show perfectly and without a single flaw.
After watching
this show you’ll realize as to why Aamir is called a perfectionist. This is his
debut TV show and what a job he has done! He is not trying to win TRPs. He is
not slinging mud at rivals. He is just being truthful and is trying to create
awareness among the audiences. He is genuinely concerned about the plight of
the people whom he interviews. He is undoubtedly sincere about solving the
problems of these people who are victims of one or the other kind of injustice.
Through this show, Aamir is trying to get the concerned authorities to do
something concrete and drastic to do justice to these victims of various types
of injustices. Another thing is, just like Anna Hazare, Aamir is trying to
expose all types of corruptions that are prevalent in Indian society. Not only
that, he is also trying his best to get the authorities to take necessary steps
in the matter of driving away corruptions in Indian society by taking actions
against those who are corrupt. He is doing the same thing that Anna Hazare is
doing but in his own inimitable style. Aamir is giving people of India
the courage to stand up against the unsocial.
One feels
really moved when common people come to his show and share their real life
dreadful experiences. Aamir unravels their emotional trauma and uncovers the
truth that the society is unaware of or perhaps chooses to act ignorant about.
The cases of
agonized mothers really touch you. It is shocking to know the trauma they
underwent when they were carrying a female child and how they were duped to
abort their babies. The show is indeed an eye opener and proves that female
foeticide is predominately practiced by ignorant people.
Aamir has also
brought to the notice of the viewers the malpractices that take place in
medical field. Doctors are supposed to play the role of God. But there are some
doctors who don’t hesitate to become devilish by misusing their knowledge of medicines. Aamir has exposed the
malpractices that some doctors indulge in.
The show really
grips you and leaves you dumfounded! You will be left asking for more and would
wish the show never ends. ‘Satyamev Jayate’ is indeed doing the noble job of
awakening the conscience of Indians. Keep it up, Aamir!
