Jagga Jasoos
Jagga Jasoos (English: Detective Jagga) is a 2017
Indian musical adventure romantic comedy film written and directed by Anurag
Basu, and produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor. The film features Ranbir Kapoor,
Katrina Kaif and Adah Sharma in lead roles, and tells the story of a teenage
detective in search of his missing father.
Jagga, a gifted teenage detective, who along with a
female companion, is on a quest to find his missing father. The film takes fans
on a breathtaking journey across lush green hill tops, to the African savannas,
to well-guarded military base camps and corn fields. The movie also gives a
glimpse into Jagga's childhood, that sees him watch helplessly as his father
walks away, cut to his adulthood where he is still presumably awaiting his
return. Katrina's character joins Jagga on his quest. The movie is completely
relying on Ranbir Kapoor's antics, his expressions and of course a beautiful
companion in his journey, Katrina Kaif. The movie is a comedy designed in a
Disney format with live animation and texture.
The movie has Ranbir Kapoor as Jagga, Katrina Kaif
as Shruti, Saswata Chatterjee as Jagga's father, Kiran Srinivas, Sayani Gupta
as Little Girl, Saurabh Shukla as Teacher, Adah Sharma, Denzil Smith, Brijendra
Kala, Karan Wahi, Mir Sarwar, Bijou Thaangjam and Govinda as Jagga's Foster Dad
(cameo appearance).
The film is said to be a Musical and will have a lot
of songs. There will be total of 29 songs in the film and will be part of the
narrative. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen singing most of his dialogues rather than
saying them. T-Series will release the film soundtrack album. The movie has
songs like "Ullu Ka Pattha", sung by Arijit Singh, Nikhita Gandhi, "Galti

Shab (English: The Night) is a 2017 Indian romance
drama film directed by Onir and produced by Sanjay Suri and Onir for Anticlock
Films,WSG Pictures and Surya Entertainment. It stars Raveena Tandon, Arpita
Chatterjee, Ashish Bisht, Simon Frenay, Gaurav Nanda and Areesz Ganddi.
This film is about lives of people who live on the
edge of what society finds acceptable. It is about coming to terms with oneself
and accepting other people as they are. The film is set in the cosmopolitan
city of Delhi where people from all over the country come to fulfill their
dreams. For some, these dreams are realized, while others remain in an endless
pursuit of other elusive dreams. Perhaps it is the hope of ultimately reaching
that destination that keeps one going. And then there are others who surrender
to the overwhelming power of the city of dreams and get lost in the maze. This film
is the story of a coffee shop girl Raina (Arpita Chatterjee) and the man who
loves her Afzar (Ashish Bisht) an aspiring model. Sonal (Raveena Tandon) is a
fashion patron who becomes his mentor. The film centers around their intense
relationship. Love, hurt and power. Into their lives comes in Benoit (Simon
Frenay) a French expat who teaches French in Delhi.
The film has Raveena Tandon as Sonal, Sanjay Suri as
Vivek Modi, Ashish Bisht as Mohan/Afzar, Arpita Chatterjee as Raina, Simon
Frenay as Benoit, Raj Suri as Rohan and Gaurav Nanda as Baljeet.
The music for Shab is created by Mithoon with lyrics
by Amitabh S. Verma and Mithoon. The soundtrack will be released by Tips Music.

War for the
Planet of the Apes
War for the Planet of the Apes is a 2017 American
science fiction film directed by Matt Reeves and written by Mark Bomback and
Reeves. A sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and Dawn of the
Planet of the Apes (2014), it is the third installment in the Planet of the
Apes reboot series. The film stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn,
Amiah Miller, Karin Konoval, Judy Greer and Terry Notary, and follows the
confrontation between the apes, led by Caesar, and the humans for control of Earth.
Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly
conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel (Woody Harrelson).
After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker
instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey
finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against
each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species
and the future of the planet.
The film has following cast: Apes: Andy Serkis as Caesar, an intelligent common chimpanzee who
is leader to a tribe of genetically enhanced apes. Steve Zahn as "Bad
Ape", a common chimpanzee who lived in the Sierra Safari Zoo in Nevada
before the Simian Flu outbreak and was a hermit before joining Caesar's tribe. Karin
Konoval as Maurice, a wise and benevolent Bornean orangutan who is Caesar's
adviser. Terry Notary as Rocket, a common chimpanzee who is Caesar's brother-figure
and second-in-command. Ty Olsson as Red, a Western lowland gorilla who was once
a follower of Koba, now serving the Colonel to defeat Caesar. Olsson previously
played Chief Hamill in Rise. Judy Greer as Cornelia, Caesar's wife. Max
Lloyd-Jones as Blue Eyes, Caesar and Cornelia's oldest son. Devyn Dalton as
Cornelius, Caesar and Cornelia's youngest son and Blue Eyes' younger brother.
Dalton previously played Cornelia in Rise. Sara Canning as Lake, a common chimpanzee
in Caesar's tribe. Michael Adamthwaite as Luca, a Western lowland gorilla in
Caesar's tribe. Aleks Paunovic as Winter, an albino Western lowland gorilla in
Caesar's tribe who defected to the Colonel's side. Alessandro Juliani as Spear,
a common chimpanzee in Caesar's tribe.
Humans: Woody Harrelson as The
Colonel, an iron-fisted soldier obsessed with wiping out Caesar and his tribe
to preserve his people's role as the dominant species. Amiah Miller as Nova, a
bold and kind war orphan whom Maurice adopts as his daughter, and also is the
last human to carry the Simian Flu virus. Gabriel Chavarria as Preacher, a
human soldier. Chad Rook as Boyle.
