Ya Rab

Ya Rab is a movie directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala starring Ajaz Khan, Arjumman Mughal, Raju Kher, Vikram Singh, Imran Hasnee and others. The film shows the battle between two ideologies. One group represents the Islamic principles of compassion and respect for human life, while the other incites youth to avenge alleged atrocities on Muslims. It is a genuine effort to show the right face of Islam and to guide the misguided to the right path.
What's the movie about? The basic idea behind Ya Rab is to show how Islam has been used as a tool to propagate terrorism. The Quran does not approve of terrorism in any way, not a single verse in the Holy Quran supports terrorism. Many people mention verses from the Holy Book and present it as evidence of Islam being a terror breeding religion for their political and monetary gain.
Ya Rab focuses on such issues where we deal with so called self proclaimed Maulanas (Islamic Preachers) who misinterpret The Quran and its real meaning to breed terrorists and terrorist activity. It also shows how such people manipulate the young and vulnerable youth in the name of Islam and Jihad to run their terror shops.
Ya Rab is a genuine effort to show the right face of Islam and to guide the misguided on the right path.

Hasee To Phasee

Hasee Toh Phasee (English: She Smiles, She's Snared!) is a romantic comedy Hindi film directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap. The film features Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.
The film has an interesting story. Spread across Mumbai, over a decade the film is about the relationship between the quirky, rebellious Meeta (Parineeti Chopra), and the mischievous Nikhil (Sidharth Malhotra) struggling with their respective families to fit in. Nikhil bumps into Meeta on the occasion of her sister Deeksha's wedding while Meeta is on the run. He falls in love with Meeta's sister Karishma on the same day.
The film jumps to the eve of Nikhil and Karishma's engagement. Karishma's wealthy father, Devesh Solanki, does not approve of Nikhil as he finds him to be a lackadaisical young man. On the day of his engagement, Nikhil promises Karishma that he will prove himself to be worthy of her within the next seven days.
Nikhil is re-introduced to Meeta by Karishma and is instructed to put her up in a hotel. Nikhil recognizes Meeta. In an attempt to please Karishma he decides to keep Meeta in the flat above his own house, with his crazy extended family. During the course of Meeta's stay at Nikhil's house, they come close to each other and open up to each other.
In the midst of this confusion, the truth of relationships is unfolded; the strength of unions is tested and love triumphs.
The film has Sidharth Malhotra as Nikhil Bhardwaj, Parineeti Chopra as Meeta, Adah Sharma, Manoj Joshi, Sharat Saxena, Neena Kulkarni, Karan Johar in a special appearance and Bobby Darling in the song Drama Queen.

Saving Mr Banks

Saving Mr. Banks is a 2013 American-Australian-British historical comedy-drama film directed by John Lee Hancock from a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel and Sue Smith. Centered on the development of the 1964 Walt Disney Studios film Mary Poppins, the film stars Emma Thompson as author P. L. Travers and Tom Hanks as filmmaker Walt Disney, with supporting roles from Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, Bradley Whitford, B. J. Novak and Colin Farrell. Taking its title from the father in Travers' story, the film depicts the author's fortnight-long briefing in 1961 Los Angeles as she is persuaded by Disney, in his attempts to obtain the screen rights to her novels.
In the winter of 1933, in a thatched cottage in Sussex, England, a complicated woman named Pamela “P.L.” Travers began to write Mary Poppins, the first in a series of novels that would inspire the beloved 1964 Walt Disney movie and supply generations of children with a magical fantasy nanny.
The reality of Travers’ own turbulent childhood — and her reluctance as an adult to relinquish control over her characters to Walt Disney — are the subject of the movie Saving Mr. Banks. The movie follows Travers (Emma Thompson) as she travels to the Disney lot in Burbank for two weeks in 1961, tangling with and tormenting the studio chief (Tom Hanks).
The LA visit inspires Travers to recall her childhood in Australia, in particular her father, a charismatic drunk played by Colin Farrell. From here the movie moves towards an interesting ending.

Babloo Happy Hai

Babloo Happy Hai is a Hindi film directed by Nila Madhab Panda. It is a love story of today's youngsters, and what they think love and sex is in the times of multiplexes and fast cars. The film features Sahil Anand, Erica Fernandes, Sumit Suri, Amol Parashar and Preet Kamal in pivotal roles. Earlier, the film's name was "Love is not mathematics".
The soundtrack is composed by Bishakh-Kanish with the lyrics penned by Protique Mojoomdar. The film has songs like Babloo Happy Hai, Banjaran, Jimmy Bhand, Bade Bade Akshar, Nachtey Raho, Popcorn and Uhe Baatiyan.
What's the movie about? When we love, we see no reason. The very essence of love, at its truest, thrives on the unreasonable. Babloo Happy Hai is a film that embraces these words, as it takes you on a musical journey through the breathtaking mountains, and through the lives of a set of memorable characters who will make you think again about love, and fall in love with love itself. It is a story set in the fast-paced times we live in today, concerning those who are forced to move the fastest - our youth. Amidst the common notions of irreverence and rebellion, the youth of today is troubled by many questions, puzzled by many choices, battling with a lot of pressures; wandering perhaps, but not entirely lost. The most basic of these conflicts, however, remains the question of love.
The film begins in the posh neighbourhoods of the capital, New Delhi, where 24 year old Jatin is planning a road trip up north with his buddies Harvinder (a.k.a. Harry) and Rohan. For Jatin, the endearing young groom-to-be, this could be the last such youthful indulgence before he gets tied down (quite literally) by bride-to-be Tamanna, who is a bratty, high society number, gleefully building on her idea of a 'perfect' life starting with a 'perfect' wedding . While the hardly-perfect Jatin's 'love' is one of much labour, Harry's hopeless quest for love (or something like it) lands the happy-go-lucky Sardar in positions he had only dreamt of. Rohan, usually the voice of reason amongst the three, is going through a rough patch with his long-time boyfriend, and hopes to get some much needed fresh air and good old guy fun with his buddies in the mountains.
Enter, the wild child; Natasha. The prodigal daughter of this tale, who kick-starts it all with (what Jatin assumes is) a one-night stand after the bachelor party, followed by numerous meetings; some coincidental, others deliberate, driving our hero deeper into a dilemma between 'duty' and 'love' that only gets worse as there are revelations that leave everyone stunned. Completing this intricate picture, are Deepa and Harsh, a good-humoured, dynamic couple in their mid-thirties, much in love, with much to teach this young bunch, who in turn not only adore and admire the two, but even envy how perfectly they complement each other as companions.

The story draws to a climax when Jatin comes face to face with a secret that Natasha has been battling for a while.
