Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt to star in romantic film 'Inshallah'

Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next directorial 'Inshallah' on his birthday earlier this year. After the magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, the filmmaker reunites with megastar Salman Khan after 19 years for this love story. 'Inshallah' is also Alia Bhatt's first movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, making this a truly special film.
Salman-Alia starrer ‘Inshallah’ is set to hit the screens on Eid, 2020. The reason for selecting the occasion of Eid is that it has been proven to be lucky for Salman Khan at the box office.
Alia and Salman will look good together. The film is a love story and has got all hearts and it is a fun film. The film is set in the contemporary time. Alia is very good, natural and spontaneous as an actor.
The movie will depict a young love story. Bhansali is coming up with a romantic film long time after all the dark, intense, over dramatic ones. Life is not only about dark nights, it’s also about beautiful, sunshiny mornings. It’s a new chapter for him as a filmmaker.
Salman was supposed to shoot for the film once he finishes with the shooting of Dabangg 3, which is all set to release this December. Taran Adarsh shared the news on Twitter when he wrote that Inshallah is an official movie now with Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan and that the movie would release in Eid 2020.
Next year, we see the Eid coming in May 2020 and it would be interesting to see the actors gearing up for the same. After all it will be a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. Both Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan are busy with their other ventures. Salman Khan had Bharat, which released recently and now Salman Khan seems to be on leave for the film promotion and the Eid celebration. Soon he will resume the shooting for his next film – Dabangg 3 with Sonakshi Sinha.
He has just completed the action scenes and would be resuming the other schedules for the third part of Arbaaz Khan film. Once he completes the shoot of Dabangg 3, he will start with the shooting of Inshallah with Alia Bhatt. Alia who is busy with her film Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in Sadak 2 along with Karan Johar banner film Takt and then would also shoot for Inshallah. She was excited about the film and working both with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan.
Salman Khan must currently be on cloud nine with his Eid release Bharat receiving all the positive response. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles chronicles around six decades and is high on emotions.
Salman is gearing up for Dabangg 3 next followed by Inshallah where he reunited with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after over 15 years. The movie will see him romancing Alia Bhatt and while there is a section who is very excited to see this love story, others have been skeptical of the pair. Anyway, according to Salman, it is a lovely love story, it has got all hearts, it is fun, it is set in today's times."
Salman likes Sanjay Leela Bhansali's work a lot as and the way he brought out the Sameer (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) in him. The actor has a busy schedule ahead.
Actually, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah was under spotlight after the director announced that Salman Khan would be romancing Alia Bhatt in the movie. Fans went beserk considering their age gap. However the makers maintain that the storyline demands actors of their callibre.
Interestingly enough even though Alia Bhatt is working with both Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan for the first time, Salman Khan has already collaborated with the filmmaker twice. Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali first gave an extremely memorable film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, followed by Salman's cameo in Ranbir Kapoor-Sonam Kapoor starrer (debut film) Saawariya.
Thus the Salman Khan-Alia Bhatt starrer film Inshallah is slated to release on Eid next year. It might clash with Akshay Kumar's movie Sooryavanshi, which is being directed by Rohit Shetty. The makers, according to reports, are expected to make an announcement of a new release date, especially since Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb is slated to release on June 5, 2020.
