Convention commences

GOA: “Hindu sects and organisations have to
blow the bugle for the second freedom struggle.” This was said by the national
guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, H.H. (Dr) Charudatta Pingale.
He was speaking
at the opening session of the Third All India Hindu Convention, organised by
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at the Ramnathi temple at Ponda, Goa. On the
occasion, many popular Hindu leaders were present. The session was attended by
375 representatives of over 125 Hindu organisations from 20 states of Bharat,
as well as from neighbouring Nations of Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. All
have vowed to remain committed to bring to the reality mission of the establishment
of the Hindu Nation. The Convention that started on the 20 June is going to
last till the 26 June.
On the second
day the subject relating to cow slaughter was dwelt upon. News channels in
Bharat are under the control of Church, said Suresh Chavhanke, Sudarshan News
“News channels
in Bharat are under the control of Church and, foreigners and foreign educated
individuals. Therefore, the difficulties faced by Hindus are not telecast on
these News channels,” said Suresh Chavhanke. “In order to change this situation
and to present the difficulties faced by Hindus, a Hindu channel is essential,”
he added.
In the week-long
Convention, discussions will be held on various problems such as intrusion from
Bangladesh, religious conversion, cow slaughter, love jihad, protection of
culture, protection of temples, creating awakening about Dharma among Hindus,
spread of Hindu Dharma throughout the world, providing security to overseas
Hindus etc. Similarly, Common action programme to eliminate these problems will
also be finalised in the Convention.
