Sanpada
By Dinesh Kamath
NAVI MUMBAI: Gurupornima festival, organised by
Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and other spiritual organisations was
celebrated in the environment full of bhava and Chaitanya at Chemist Bhavan,
Sanpada. In this function, gratitude was expressed towards Guru and a spark was
lit to create awakening about the Nation and Dharma. This festival was
celebrated with full of enthusiasm at 60 places across the nation in various
languages. About 290 Hindus were benefited by attending the festival at
Sanpada.
The programme
started with the worship of Shri Vyas and photograph of H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj.
It was followed by introduction to the unique mission carried out by Paratpar
Guru Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavae, followed by the guidance of devout Hindu Adv.
Sanjiv Punalekar, National Secretary of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad and Mr Arvind
Pansare, Maharashtra Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
Adv. Sanjiv
Punalekar, speaking on the topic 'Tradition of Guru-disciple and Hindu Nation'
said, 'We have to fight the battle for the establishment of the Hindu Nation
only through the medium of sadhana. Therefore, it is necessary to perform
sadhana, meaning, devotion to God. Number of seekers of Sanatan Sanstha may be
less. However, they are fighting war of Dharma with perseverance. This is
possible due to grace of Guru. We imbibe internal strength by performing
sadhana. Guru has chosen us for the great mission of the establishment of the
Hindu Nation. Be sure, He will take us up to the goal.'
Mr Arvind
Pansare, speaking on the topic 'Establishment of the 'Hindu Nation', based on
Dharma and direction of this mission' said, 'Whenever Dharma faces languor, the
tradition of Guru-disciple eliminates this languor and carries out important
mission to rejuvenate Dharma. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj successfully
established Hindavi Swaraj with the blessings of his Guru Samarth Ramdas Swami.
Similarly, Swami Vivekanand propagated Hindu Dharma throughout the world as per
the orders of his Guru Shri Ramkrushna Paramahansa. Presently, incidents of
inappropriate conduct in the name of Dharma are on the rise. In such an adverse
situation, it has become inevitable for the tradition of Guru-disciple to take
up the mission to re-establish Dharma. It is essential to replace scamster
rulers with devout and patriot persons. Therefore, there is no other
alternative than to establish a governing system based on Dharma.'
On this
occasion, few devout Hindus contributing towards the service to the Nation and
Dharma were felicitated. Two CDs on 'Greatness of Hindu Dharma' and 'Necessity
of Hindu TV channel' were also exhibited in the function.
