PANVEL: A
CREDO School, situated on expansive 8 acres of campus, was officially
inaugurated today by Shri V. K. Shunglu, Honorable Chairman, The Delhi Public
School Society in the presence of the parents and the students.
DPS PANVEL is one of the largest schools in Navi Mumbai,
with a planned built-up area of 2,00,000 sq. ft., elegant and spacious
architecture and lush landscaped
gardens. The school has a state-of-the-art multipurpose complex, with a stage
for drama, and facilities for indoor games like basketball, volleyball, cricket
simulator, 5 a side soccer, table tennis and squash.
DPS Panvel has a massive library with Internet access and
an impressive collection of books with multi-media rooms with ample computers
and digital equipment to ensure that each child has individual access to
technology. The school also has a special counseling centre to give students
and parents emotional and psychological support and to eliminate stress.
Keeping safety and security of utmost importance DPS
PANVEL has strategically placed smoke detectors, live cameras and DRONE
facility for special events. Intelligent Transportation system with Live Route
Tracking and Monitoring with 360 degree camera along with RFID Systems to
provide instant updates to parents and guardians, ensuring maximum safety and
security has been installed in the school buses.
The school’s curriculum is designed to promote academic
excellence, leadership skills and social responsibility amongst its students.
The school will also host a carnival with fun, food,
games, contests, dance and lots more on the day of its opening, i.e 15th June
2015 from 11 am onwards for the students and their families to make their first
day in school memorable.

From the very beginning in the President’s Estate in 1941
as Church High School, to Naveen Bharat School in 1947, and finally in 1949 at
its present location on Mathura Road where Dr. S Radhakrishnan laid the
