Controversial statements during the election campaigns
BJP president Amit Shah has compared Wayanad with Pakistan. Now this has come as a major embarrassment for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) constituents, and the BJP candidates in other segments, where the party claims to have high stakes and minority communities wield the clout to tilt the scale. Authorisation of Shah’s views would seriously erode their chances. Shah’s comparison is feared to have a serious impact in all segments
Though the BJP State unit has been reiterating that it does not profess an anti-minority stance, Shah’s observation as well as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s comment terming the Indian Union Muslim League as a virus have given a strong reason to both the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) to target the BJP.
LDF is expected to fortify its position among the minorities. LDF would make a concerted bid to expose the communal appeasement plans of the BJP and the UDF. They are determined to bare the anti-minority stance of the BJP and its leaders and the tacit deal the Congress and Muslim League have struck with it for electoral gains. The LDF is bound to bring it to public glare,
The intense participation of Amit Shah in the campaign of holy State of Kerala will make the presence of BJP felt in all quarters irrespective of the opposition's efforts to derail the prosperous move of BJP. BJP has called upon the people of the Holy State of educated Kerala to help them retain the existing atmosphere and further improvise the facilities for the visiting tourists by uniting together to elect the NDA in the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2019 with the majority mandate with no opposition to serve them better.
There are many forces trying to cause India's division and disintegration. Kashmir is under heavy pressure, Sikhs are holding an international referendum in 2020 calling for an independent Kalistan, Moists are fighting their war of indendence  etc. etc. etc. Indians should be very careful in the times that lie ahead.
On the other side, cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu created a controversy by urging Muslim voters of a Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar to vote en bloc and defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This has invited angry response from the BJP, which urged the Election Commission to take suitable action against him.
In the region where majority are Muslims, Siddhu has warned the people over there not to fall into the trap laid by people like Asaduddin Owaisi [president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen]. He said that they have been propped up by the BJP,
This statement of Siddhu should be strongly condemned. His comments appear to be in sync with the Congress policy of minority appeasement and a consequence of the partys worry of an impending defeat.  Sidhu is an embarrassment for the Congress party as well as for the nation. Will the senior leadership of Congress initiate strict discplinary action against him?
The thing is Asaduddin Owaisi is being accused of dividing the Muslim votes on the behest of BJP, so that BJP candidate can win easily.

But anyway the secular credential of Congress is exposed. This is some thing like Siddhu working for BJP and making this election more polarized the way it happened in Gujarat during Modi’s rule where Sonia openly appealed to Muslims to vote for Congress and Congress collapsed.
