Inorbit, Vashi’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan saw participation of 400 Navi Mumbaikars

VASHI: Inorbit Malls, Vashi under its Inorbit Connect initiative carried out a Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan (SBA) on 10 December, Wednesday.

Inorbit mall has been conducting various community building and socially relevant activities in their efforts to make society a better place to live in. This cleanliness drive, which is a part of Inorbit Connect, saw the participation of 400 people from the mall & their retail staff along with the students of Bharati Vidyapeeth & members of Everything Goes communications in and around of the Mall. The coordinators and their teams cleaned the entire circumference from Inorbit Mall, Vashi to Vashi Bus Depot and areas around the Vashi station.

 Inorbit’s cleanliness drive is an initiative supported by an NGO working towards the re-use and recycling of waste. Similar activity has been carried out in Inorbit Malls located in cities of Vadodara, Pune, Hyderabad and Mumbai as well and will be carried out at Inorbit malls,  Bangalore  to spread the message of cleanliness.

The purpose of this cleanliness drive is not just to spread the word of keeping the area clean but also to sustain a clean lifestyle by educating the citizens on ways to avoid creating dirt and filth. Inorbit malls will recycle the wet garbage while all plastic bottles collected will be handed over to Bisleri and an NGO for recycling.

Mr. Puneet Varma, GM - Marketing and Corporate Communications, Inorbit Malls (India) Pvt. Ltd. said, “It is our responsibility to keep our surrounding environment and subsequently the country clean. I think it is a very apt issue that our country has so readily picked up on behest of our PM Narendra Modi and we intend to encourage it through this activity in all our malls across the country. We hope that people of Navi Mumbai will definitely be motivated by their participation and will strive to keep the city clean. It is not a mission of a day rather more of a message to imbibe a healthy new clean habit”

By associating with Bisleri Inorbit intends to promote a sustainable system that will encourage a cleaner environment around the area and spread the message of ‘Clean India’.
