Anushka is seen as Rudrama devi, the 13th century revered
queen of the Kakatiya dynasty. Anushka has beautifully justified her role in
showcasing the emotional turmoil that Rudhramadevi went through as a woman in
the film. The emotional turmoil Rudhramadevi went through was so intense but she
still ruled with compassion, cared for her people and kingdom more than her own
life. Thus, set against the backdrop of the Kakatiya dynasty, the film narrates
the rise of the ferocious warrior queen Rudhramadevi.
