NISAA grooms teachers and equips them with necessary skills

NAVI MUMBAI: NISAA of Navi Mumbai grooms teachers for teaching Pre-Primary & Primary section with special training on teaching very young children. The teachers are equipped with necessary skills to teach and to take a step forward towards a bright future full of respect and honour. NISAA believe in preparing life-long learners who are able to apply their knowledge in a cross cultural and diverse society.

At NISAA the teachers are exposed to teaching practice in real classrooms. This enhances the confidence of the teachers as well as gives them the necessary teaching experience.

NISAA provides holistic education that enables growth, optimism, hard work and all round development of the trainee teachers with the better understanding of cultural, moral and social concepts of our life.

The teacher-student relationship is far more complex and demanding than ever before. The implication of this more diversified role for the teacher is what impelled a new view of the process of teacher education and training. Thus, teacher education as seen by us is a continuous process, beginning with a phase of initial training and continuing throughout the teacher’s professional life throughout regular and sustained periods of in-service training.  Maintaining the view that a teacher must remain a learner during the scope of their service is mandatory.

NISAA Teacher Training Institute conducted teacher training workshop in January 2016. Workshop for trainee teachers was dealt on various topics such as

Story telling Techniques with voice modulation,

teaching aids requirements ,

Importance of Phonetics.

2 days Phonics workshop was also conducted for in depth knowledge of the subject. UK trainer was invited for conducting the Phonics workshop. Teacher trainees performed skit on Woman Empowerment, which is the requirement of the day.

NISAA introduced new courses in the field of pre-school education during the session. These courses will be available from year March 2016. Courses Included are Curriculum Designing Programme, Phonics Training, Certificate in Learning Disabilities, Certificate in Guidance and Counselling, Classroom Management.
