Celebrations of Bharat Sevashram Sangha

VASHI: Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a
Registered Socio-Cultural, Philanthropic, Non-Profit Organization consisting selfless
persons dedicated to the service of humanity with non-sectarian, non-communal,
non-political character and outlook. It was founded in 1917 by the illustrious
patriot saint Yugacharya Sreemat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj. The Sangha is a
pioneer in organising relief work at the time of natural calamities like flood,
epidemic, famine, earthquake etc. It has scores of branches in India and
abroad. The Mumbai Branch, besides other social initiatives, is primarily
dedicated to help (Below Poverty Line) BPL level Cancer Patients who come to
Mumbai for their treatment by providing free accommodation, transportation,
breakfast etc.
Theyh have however being keeping a low profile and
silently working towards their goals.
Bharat Sevashram Sangha will be celebrating a
centenary year (from 1917 to 2016). At the Mumbai branch they have planned
several activities. On this occasion they
will also seek the support of prestigious media institutions to create
awareness and generate support for the activities of the Ashram. For this they
are planning to organise a Press Conference on 25 June, 2016 at Bharat
Sevashram Sangha, 263, Swami Pranavanandaji Marg, Sector – 31A, Vashi, Navi Mumbai
– 400 703 from 5 pm with the following program:
5 pm to 5:05 pm - Welcome address by Swami
Prashantanandaji, Head-Mumbai Branch
5:05 pm to 5:45 pm - Presentation: Bharat Sevashram
Sangha - Global, National and Local by
the Honorary Director of Ashram
5:45 pm to 6 pm - Queries and questions
6 pm onwards - interactions over Hi-Tea
