The Mega Fest ‘Prarrambh’ inaugurated by Bollywood Actor Aman

NAVI MUMBAI: During the last month of the
year, students and youth of various colleges eagerly await the annual fests.
Likewise Rajiv Gandhi College and Sainath Junior College from the Navi Mumbai is
celebrating the Mega Fest “Prarrambh” which started from 16 December, 2016. The
inauguration for this Mega event “Prarrambh” was done by Bollywood Actor Aman
Verma in presence of other dignitaries like Mr A.K Bir cinematographer.
The Festival
which is spread over for 7 days has more than 150 colleges and 3000 students
participating in various events competitions. Nearly 61 different type of
competitions will be organised by Rajiv Gandhi and Sainath Jr. College which
will span from 16 to 22 December. The venue is Sainath Education Trust’s Rajiv
Gandhi College, campus.
The
participants of various events and competition will be awarded with cash prizes
and mementos. The Chief Organizer of the event Prof. B.S. Pandey says, “The
Youth is full of enthusiasm and energy”. This event is organized to provide a
platform for students to channelize their energy and present their skills and
talent in various events. Winners will be awarded with the cash prizes and
certificate at the hand of eminent personalities.
On the
occasion of inauguration ceremony, Aasaram Yadav, Trustee of Sainath Education
Trust, Cinematographer A.K Bir, Principal Dr. H B Gurav, Director of TLC Group
Ms Anjali Singh, Dr. R B Singh, Vijayapant Tuli, Mr T.P Singh, Administrative
officer Sainath Education Trust and others guests were present. Various events
like acting, singing, dancing, indoor sports, kabaddi, kho-kho, fashion show,
literary events etc (61 events) will be organised. Famous Marathi actor Vijay
Patkar will grace the events to encourage and boost the morale of participants
on the day of events. Vijay Patkar says that, “By starting such a Mega Fest
Prarrambh, Rajiv Gandhi College is starting a new tradition. I shall be present
on 20 December personally for the event”.
