commissioner Tushar Pawar and zone 2’s deputy commissioner Dr Amrish Patnigire.
The campaign was carried out by assistant commissioner Dattatray Nagre,
cleanliness officer Vinayak Juikar and cleanliness inspector and deputy

thus total fine amount of Rs 10000 was collected. Fine amount of Rs 2500 was
collected from the businessmen who had thrown waste at public places.
Using banned plastic is a crime and
the punishment for committing this crime first time is Rs 5000, second time –
Rs 10000 and third time – Rs 25000. NMMC has appealed to the city residents
that they should be environment-friendly and cooperate in the matter of making
