Still more facilities to be gifted to Navi Mumbaikars

VASHI: Passport Service Centre has started in the premises of
Vashi’s Post Office. The inauguration of this Centre was done by Thane District
Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde. During the inauguration ceremony were present
MP Rajan Vichare, Shiv Sena deputy leader Vijay Nahata, MLA Manda Mhatre,
Ramesh Dada Patil, opposition party leader Vijay Chougule, district chief
Vitthal More, Dwarkanath Bhoir, women front chief Ranjana Shintre, Maharashtra
Circle’s chief post master general Harichandra Agrawal, Navi Mumbai’s post
master general Shobha Madhale, regional passport officer Tulsidas Sharma and
passport assistant officer Vishal Hiwale.
During the inauguration event, MP
Rajan Vichare spoke about still more facilities which will be gifted to Navi
Mumbaikars. He said that Central Government through its Fame Scheme will start
30 electric buses within the jurisdiction of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
The inauguration of these buses will be done in the presence of Central
Industry Minister Arvind Sawant. MP Vichare also spoke about the two storey
building that will come up on the 5000 sq feet area of the post office at
Airoli. He informed that the bhumi pujan of Parcel Processing Centre would also
be done and the work on it would also start soon. Lastly he declared that he
has contributed from his MP Funds to provide ambulance to people belonging to
all the religions.
MP Rajan Vichare specifically
mentioned that whoever was in need of ambulance should contact Vashi’s NMMC
Hospital and obtain it.
