Kareena Kapoor
and the latest film she is working in

After
playing journalist-activist Yasmin Ahmed
in Satyagraha,
Kareena Kapoor returns as social
worker Dia in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.
The
film also stars Imran Khan, as the
charming city slicker Sriraam, who is
trying to woo Dia out of a village
where she is working at the grassroot level. But the reason Dia got there was because of a tiff with
Sriraam.
It
appears as if Kareena is parodying
her Satyagraha
character in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.
The
film has a fiery (and kind of funny) speech by Kareena. It's more than what she got to do in Satyagraha, but the whole
set-up is the same. You will see her lighten up with the same backdrop and more
spunk - and of course, sexier chemistry with a much hotter leading man. Nothing
like a little humour to drive home a social message after a preachy political
drama.
