NAVI MUMBAI: For the first time the Christian Community will be organising a Cricket match for Unity. Trinity Home Welfare & Charitable Trust, All India United Christian Association (AIUCA) along with The Christian Observer is organizing a Cricket Over Arm Tournament called United Christian League 2015 on 15 & 16 May 2015, at Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Sector 3A, CBD Belapur, Near YMCA, Navi Mumbai.
“We are glad to invite your church to participate in this event with your team, We aim to unite all denomination of churches together where every situation and troubles faced by each single church, chain of Churches can be supported by AIUCA, and encourage our Christian youth towards sports, health, cultural activities and Unity in Christ,” said Trevor Pinto, President, AIUCA.
“Through such innovative ideas, we can try to bring all Churches / Parishes together, strengthening our youth by interacting with them from different areas with sports and cultural activity” said Adv. Fr. Sushant Mantri, Coordinator Bombay Catholic Sabha, (Navi Mumbai  Deanery).
Dr. Rupali Trevor Pinto, President, THWCT said “We have been catering to HIV and underprivileged Ladies and Children in various capacities like Cultural and Sports Activities”.
“We are glad that we can bring our children who have been in the remand home in the past and make them realise that they are still loved and cared for through such programs” said Sheldon Dsouza from Jeevan Jal Ministeries, Kanjurmarg.
Teams from all over Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Raigad would be participating in UCL 2015.
