Vikas Kendra celebrates Republic Day at Seawoods in unique way

NAVI MUMBAI: The celebrations on
Republic Day 2016 was unique at MMVK at Seawoods; a pre-conceived idea of Fr.
Deepak, the Director of MMVK, to contribute to Navi Mumbai in a special way by tuning
to the nation’s mission; the Swach Bharat Abhyan. Fr. Abbot Rocky D’Souza, the
Parish Priest of Our Lady of Visitation Church, Nerul brought the vision to reality
by mobilizing the parishioners through announcement in the church and
registration of the participants to the program.
The Chief Guest Shri. Ashok Gawade and other four
local Corporators viz. Shri. Vinod Mhatre,
Shri. Ganesh Mhatre, Shri Vishal Rajan Dolas and Sri Amit Madvai were invited
on stage and were presented with floral bouquets by Fr. Deepak. The presence of
big number of volunteers made the program a mega success. Volunteers were
provided with a sumptuous lunch thereafter.
