Congratulations to Nobel Prize Winners!
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced the Nobel Prize in various subjects: The three Nobel Prize winners in Physics for 2016 are David J. Thouless, F. Duncan M. Haldane and J. Michael Kosterlitz for their work on topological phase transitions of matter. In Chemistry awardees are Jean-Pierre Sauvage, Sir J. Fraser Stoddart and Bernard L. Feringa for developing molecular machines which will be useful in the development of things such as new materials, sensors and energy storage systems. And, Nobel Prize in Medicine has been awarded to Prof. Yoshinori Ohsumi, of Tokyo Institute of Technology “for his discoveries of mechanisms for autophagy, a process for degrading, recycling cellular components. The members of Nobel Committee should expand their vision and start awarding Nobel Prizes in other subjects like Engineering and mathematics/statistics also which are also useful for peaceful leading of life of mankind.
While Nobel prizes in sciences and medicine may help in discussing the latest discoveries in the field, the awarding of prizes to certain discoveries and leaving others may rise controversies. One of the major takeaways in discussion is that science should be a routine conversing subject rather than discussing only at the time of Nobel prizes or other occasions of prize winning moments.
As the human thought-imagination-observation phenomena go deeper into the realms of realities of Life on earth, as well as juxtapose the "insides" of life with the surrounding materials world, the differences amongst the "Sciences" become so small as to coalesce at nano scales. Yoshinori Ohsumi is once again confirming that in more details, inasmuch as Richard Feynman could fathom that earlier, sixty years ago. Science triumphs with the exotics and esoteric being brought to limelight, creating a sort of coalition of Imagination, Art and Mechanical depiction, bringing order and brightness in an otherwise chaotic and self-destructive world.
None of these Nobel laureates pursued their careers with the goal of winning Nobel prizes. They pursued their passions with patience and persistence and the Nobel prizes are just icing on the cake. The UN should declare the week during which Nobel prizes are awarded as the week of scientists in recognition of all scientists in the world.
Ohsumi deserves the Nobel Prize since he has taken effort to prove that that the cells are not garbage and create a recycling process through self-eating process for degrading and recycling cellular components. His is a breakthrough invention in cell biology. He proved the refilling of vacuoles through Autophagy. It is really an invention by Ohsumi and he deserves this accolade.

The ground-breaking discovery of exotic materials have revolutionary radical transformation in the world of material science is highly useful, meaningful and fruitful for the development of the world. The exotic ideas are also alluring and esoteric. Only few people of the world can comprehend fully these exotic ideas and materials. Congratulations to Nobel Prize Winners!
