New movies released in Navi Mumbai
Badrinath Ki Dulhania

Badrinath Ki Dulhania (English: Badrinath's bride) is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film directed by Shashank Khaitan, and produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner. Starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead, the film marks the second installment of a franchise that began with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014).
A man (Varun Dhawan) and a woman (Alia Bhatt) fall in love despite their opposing views on gender and life in general. Starring Varun Dhawan as Badrinath Bansal and Alia Bhatt as Vaidehi Trivedi, the film is more than just your boy meets girl love story. It is the coming together of raw and refined with a touch of desi-pan and a hatke definition of pyaar. Join them in the journey of love, laughter, and lunacy. Badrinath is a boy from Jhansi. Director Shashank Khaitan has drawn this character very realistically. The character has an emotional connect to the audience which was the death of his family. If that was not there, he would have become a completely negative character.
The film has Varun Dhawan as Badrinath Bansal, Alia Bhatt as Vaidehi Trivedi, Aakanksha Singh As Kiran, Gauahar Khan as Laxmi Shankar, Shweta Basu Prasad as Urmila, Puneet Singh Ratn as Dev, Rituraj Singh as Badrinath's father, Kanupriya Pandit as Vaidehi's mother, Atul Narang as Sagar, Gaurav Pandey, Yash Sinha and Sahil Vaid.
The music for the film has been composed by Amaal Mallik, Tanishk Bagchi and Akhil Sachdeva while the lyrics have been written by Kumaar, Shabbir Ahmed, Akhil Sachdeva and Badshah. The film has songs like "Aashiq Surrender Hua", "Roke Na Ruke Naina", "Humsafar", "Badri Ki Dulhania (Title Track)" and "Tamma Tamma Again".

Kong: Skull Island

Kong: Skull Island is a 2017 American monster thriller film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and written by Dan Gilroy and Max Borenstein, from a story by John Gatins and Gilroy. The film is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and will serve as the second film in Legendary's MonsterVerse, following Godzilla. It stars an ensemble cast consisting of Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Brie Larson, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, John Ortiz, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Thomas Mann, Terry Notary and John C. Reilly.
When a scientific expedition to an uncharted island awakens titanic forces of nature, a mission of discovery becomes an explosive war between monster and man. The first 20 minutes of “Kong: Skull Island” set up the central premise swiftly and introduce us to the film’s protagonists. John Goodman is the scientist who convinces the U.S. government to allow him to tag along with the U.S. military on a mapping mission of an uncharted island. Tom Hiddleston is the professional tracker hired to help in case the place harbors critters. Brie Larson is an “anti-war photographer” who hitches a ride to document the journey. Samuel L. Jackson is the officer in charge of the show, still bitter about how American forces were ordered to pull out of Vietnam. Even before the gang has reached the island, “Kong: Skull Island” is already invoking “Apocalypse Now,” and the Vietnam metaphors grow stronger as the movie unfolds. John C. Reilly shows up, improvising wildly, as a World War II pilot who’s been stranded on the island since 1944 and has made friends with the indigenous people — a tribe of chill, peace-loving villagers who worship Kong because he protects them against the island’s other, less hospitable residents. As in all previous “King Kong” movies, Skull Island turns out to be roaming with creatures, including the scariest giant spider since Shelob in “The Return of the King,” except this one is a lot bigger.

The film has Tom Hiddleston as James Conrad, a disillusioned former British Special Air Service Captain who served in the Vietnam War, hired as a hunter-tracker for the expedition by Randa. Samuel L. Jackson as Preston Packard, an United States Army Lieutenant Colonel and leader of the Sky Devils helicopter squadron, hired to chopper the group of explorers on the expedition. John Goodman as William "Bill" Randa, a senior official in the government organization Monarch who is in charge of the expedition. Brie Larson as Mason Weaver, a war photojournalist and peace activist. Jing Tian as San Lin, a young biologist working for Monarch. Toby Kebbell as Jack Chapman, an US Army Major and right hand man to Packard. John Ortiz as Victor Nieves, a senior Landsat official on the expedition. Corey Hawkins as Houston Brooks, a young geologist and graduate of Yale University recruited for the expedition by Monarch for his groundbreaking theories on seismology. Jason Mitchell as Glenn Mills, a young loyal warrant officer and helicopter pilot of the Sky Devils. Shea Whigham as Earl Cole, a seasoned Captain of the Sky Devils with a "unique" perspective on the mission. Thomas Mann as Reg Slivko, a warrant officer of the Sky Devils known for carrying a portable record player. Terry Notary as King Kong (motion capture performance), a mythical monstrous ape who is worshiped as the king and god on Skull Island by the Iwi natives. John C. Reilly as Hank Marlow, a World War II Lieutenant who spent 28 years stranded on Skull Island. He knows the creatures of the island, and he is a friend of the Iwi natives. Will Brittain portrays a young Hank Marlow. Additionally, Marc Evan Jackson portrays Steve Woodward, a Landsat employee on the expedition, and Eugene Cordero portrays Reles, a warrant officer on the expedition, while Thomas Middleditch provides the voice of Jerry, Richard Jenkins appears as Senator Willis, and MIYAVI appears as Gunpei Ikari.
