NAVI MUMBAI:
RanveerBrar, Celebrity chef along with students of ITM IHM made Diwali brighter
for the street kids of Oshiwara and the kids from NGO Anmol, Navi Mumbai. They
spread light of happiness among underprivileged kids on this Diwali day. The
chef and the students distributed Smiley Meal boxes wrapped in love amongst the
kids on November 10.
Celebrity Chef RanveerBrar, who wears many hats which
include Judge of master chef India, Senior Executive Chef, travel show host,
food columnist, food stylist and artist is Brand Ambassador for ITM Institute
of Hotel Management.
Chef Ranveer was seen not only distributing the meal
boxes but also enjoyed a magic show and a DJ party organized by ITM for the
children of Anmol to make
their Diwali
celebration a fun filed one. Chef RanveerBrar strongly believes that food will
serve its purpose only when it brings a smile on the face of kids, no matter
whether it is served at a five star hotel or the street.
While expressing his excitement, Chef RanveerBrar said,
“Diwali is a festival of gifting, and I have been doing this from quite
sometime. Diwali is a festival when people from remote villages come and put
small stalls over here in Mumbai. They come here to make money and don't have
food solutions. Hence me and the ITM students took this initiative of
distributing smiley meal boxes amongst the kids to spread some happiness. ITM
students have taken this great initiative of preparing the meal boxes by
themselves. By the end of the day, the joy of giving gives you immense
happiness & pleasure.”
