Let time tell whether AAP will perform or not

Indians living abroad can help a political party in many ways. Many of them have money and they are patriots too. They can serve as propaganda machine of parties.

Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party have captured the imagination of many NRIs who donated a lot of money to them recently. But AAP benefited hugely from the buzz created by the middle class on the social media more than from finance.

Funds are not exactly a problem for the Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party. But these parties lacked the imagination possessed by AAP which managed to build up its credibility and social acceptance through its supporters on Twitter and Facebook. The AAP is undoubtedly a new-age party in every sense.

Today the electronic media is more focused towards AAP from whom they expect strong , effective and experienced leadership for the country.

It is true that money is required to meet election expenses, but something must be done to see that only moneyed people do not win election, but a clean candidate with people's welfare & nation's progress as his guidelines wins the election too. Delhi results have given a bright ray of hope that 2014 Loksabha elections will pave way for a majority of good, clean MPs to shape the destiny of nation. Educated class should come out in full to vote AAP to power.

AAP has gone to the grassroots of democracy and revived the concept. It has put the governance and welfare of the people in focus. There is no doubt that AAP has changed the political process in Delhi and gave hope to the many Indians tired of Indian politics, corruption, inefficiency etc.

It is true that a dedicated and honest leadership can achieve a lot in serving the people. However, it remains to be seen how AAP will change things for the Aam Aadmi, who were neglected, cheated and exploited after Indian independence. Many Indians are hopefully waiting for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. AAP needs to device a systematic governance process, independent of personalities and efficient enough to be adaptive, self-improving, diverse enough to match India’s diversity etc.

Referendums may be used for decision making in simple contexts, but complex matters need smarter decision making processes. We should wait for the time to tell us whether AAP can stand up to our expectations before making discouraging statements against it.

On 12 January, 2014, Wockhardt Hosptials, Vashi conducted a health awareness camp at Sacred Heart Church, Vashi. The camp was a part of the initiative. The Health awareness camp started with a thorough Health examination for around 46 patients for Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, Body Mass Index, Temperature, Pulse, Random Blood Sugar & Electro Cardio Gram, by the Wockhardt Team of medical professionals. Few Patients were recommended to the Specialist doctor for the further treatment. The patients included the adults and the children from Sacred Heart Church, they were examined and various health complaints and medical histories were assessed through detailed consultations conducted by doctors.

AAP should not lose the advantage

AAP is a political phenomenon to watch out for in the upcoming general election. Just recently, AAP member Prashant Bhushan’s comments on Kashmir had caused vandalism. So AAP should be careful.  

The appeal of the AAP phenomenon is expanding beyond the borders of Delhi, capturing the imagination of a wider audience across the country. The AAP has unfurled an ambitious plan to contest over 300 Lok Sabha seats and announced its intention to take on Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi in their constituencies. Both Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi are feeling challenged by the arrival of Kejriwal and the AAP.

In the Delhi elections, the AAP reduced the Congress to third place and stopped the BJP’s march to power. AAP appears to be so strong that no threat or violence can cow its members down.

AAP is yet to settle down and start discharging its duties. Meanwhile, political parties, media and the public are throwing comments at AAP in haste. One comment on Kashmir by a member of AAP has sparked violence. It is clear that Congress, BJP and other political parties are just waiting for AAP to commit even one small mistake so that they can immediately take political advantage of the situation.

The citizens of India should give AAP enough time to manage and administer.

All the criticisms and comments aimed at AAP should be constructive and suggestive.

Clearly, we are seeing a phenomenon emerging from the depths of a rotten political system. A pure gem of a political party, with a strong willed, clean leader in Arvind Kejriwal, has emerged.  He has managed to garner a group of young, inexperienced but energetic, intelligent and hardworking people to help the cause. People of India are better off with this new party than two grand old parties who together have achieved very little.

Arvind Kejriwal has given the Indian political system a jolt and perhaps already set a change which will clean the Country's image. After the 2014 elections, our country might witness an incredible person leading Indians to a better future.

After AAP captured the attention of entire India with its recent election victory in Delhi, the urban and educated middle class of entire nation are now looking up to it as an alternative to other mainstream parties.

Meanwhile AAP should be prudent to not make any unwarranted statement and thus should not lose the advantage.

Miss Lovely

The film Miss Lovely introduces us to Mumbai’s C-grade film industry and follows the story of two brothers, who are into producing sleazy horror films in the mid-1980s. The film is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and produced by Shumona Goel and Sanjay Shah. The genre of the film is ‘Adult Drama’. Story writers are Ashim Ahluwalia and Uttam Sirur. The film has Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Sonu and Niharika Singh as Pinky in the lead roles.

Miss Lovely is based on Mumbai's C-grade industry and follows the story of two brothers, who are into producing sleazy horror films in the mid-1980s. The plot explores the intense and mutually destructive relationship between younger sibling Sonu Duggal, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and his elder brother, Vicky (Anil George). Sonu finds himself drawn to a mysterious young woman named Pinky (Niharika Singh) eventually leading to his downfall.

The film soundtrack also links back to a history of past cinema, particularly the use of rare work of Italian composers Egisto Macchi and Piero Umiliani, who had both scored exploitation films. The soundtrack also employs film scores by Indian composer Ilaiyaraaja and disco producer Biddu.

Thus the film has Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Sonu, Niharika Singh as Pinky, Anil George as Vicky, Zeena Bhatia as Poonam and Menaka Lalwani as Nadia.

Karle Pyaar Karle

Karle Pyaar Karle is a romantic Hindi film directed by Rajesh Pandey and produced by Suneel Darshan. The film features Shiv Darshan and Hasleen Kaur in the lead roles. Shiv Darshan and Hasleen Kaur will be making their debut silver screen appearance in this film.

The film has Shiv Darshan as Kabir, Hasleen Kaur as Preet, Tanya Malik and Ankit Raaj.

The movie has an interesting plot. Karle Pyaar Karle is the story of two childhood friends, Kabir and Preet who have always indulged themselves in daring games. Love and friendship re-emerges when they meet after 12 years but Preet thinks that they are ill-fated and so goes apart from Kabir.

To be clearer, Karle Pyaar Karle is an adrenaline gushing, action packed, edgy love story of two rebels, Kabir and Preet, playing the game of life. The unstable environment within their homes manifests into their daring attitude towards life. Right from their childhood Kabir and Preet indulged in playing borderline dangerous games trying to defy the fear and complexes within. In a desperate moment, eight year old Kabir indulged in an act that leads him to the doors of a juvenile home. In a bid to protect Kabir, his mother decides to leave town to escape the harsh punishment. After travelling from one city to another for 12 years, the family returns to their home town where Kabir and Preet reconnect......beginning a mad chapter of dares, games and fun.

The film is a journey of their unbridled games as they discover themselves and the essence of romance. Problems rear up as though it was their destiny ... Preet starts believing that they are ill fated and it's best they should stay away. Kabir firmly believes that only if they are together, will they survive. Preet willingly tears herself apart from Kabir leading them to a point of no return.

They love to dare........ But will they dare to love? – the rest of the movie answers the question.

Paranthe Wali Gali

Paranthe Wali Gali is a 2014 Indian romance comedy film directed and produced by the award winning playwright and theatre director Sachin Gupta under the Banner Chilsag-Civitech Motion Pictures Produced by Sachin Gupta and Sushma Gupta. The film stars Anuj Saxena and Neha Pawar in the lead roles.

The story of the film Paranthe Wali Gali starts from the famous and popular lane in Delhi and then moves into the lives of the characters living there. This film can be considered the story of unsung love that blossoms in very famous lane of paranthe in Old Delhi, and deals with affair of emotions and caring between the couple. Set in the backdrop of theater, it is about their journey giving inroads into life in theater. A romantic comedy, it also has various other dimensions. It is a sensitive film of dreams, success, failure and relation. It is something that everybody who dreams, can relate to.

The film is trying to touch parts of Old Delhi from Dariba Kalan to Kinari Bazaar and Khari Bawri - places that have not been explored till now. It is a place of much nostalgia for many people. The name itself has romantic foodie connotations. As a allegory to life, one can fantasize about plates of steamy, crispy, puffed up Paranthas, drowning in lots of gooey, yummy ghee, stuffed with an array of vegetables and meats.

The movie has Anuj Saxena as Maulik, Neha Pawar as Naina Kaur, Vijayant Kohli as Saluja, Mohinder Gujral, Himanshu Thakkar, Yuvraj Haral and Prabhakar Srinet.

The music and background score for the film and composed by Vasundhara Das and Vikram Khajuria with song lyrics by Vipin Mishra,Viraj Mishra and Devshi Khanduri. American Hustle

American Hustle is a 2013 American crime comedy-drama film directed by David O. Russell, from a screenplay written by Eric Warren Singer and Russell, loosely based on the FBI ABSCAM operation of the late 1970s and early '80s. It stars Christian Bale and Amy Adams as two con artists who are forced by an FBI agent (played by Bradley Cooper) to set up an elaborate sting operation on corrupt politicians, including the mayor of Camden, New Jersey (played by Jeremy Renner). Jennifer Lawrence supports the cast as the unpredictable wife of Bale's character.

The film narrates the story of a con man named Bruce Wayne. Bruce is an expert at conning desperate people out of their money and at selling fake painting. One day at a party he meets Lois Lane. The two rapidly fall in love and become partners in crime. They live a perfect life - or they would, if Bruce Wayne wasn't married to Mystique, a completely insane woman. He could divorce her, but if he did that, Mystique would surely keep the custody of her son, which Bruce adopted and consider as his own. And Bruce doesn't want to leave his son with Mystique.

These marital trouble come to the forefront when both Bruce and Lois are arrested by FBI officer Rocket Raccoon. Rocket forces them to work with him to catch some money-laundering crooks, but his ambition soon drives him over the edge and together, Bruce, Rocket Racoon and Mystique try to catch the upstanding mayor of Camden Clint Barton taking and offering bribes to rebuild a city. A game becomes even more dangerous when Lucifer himself gets involved...

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is a 2014 American action thriller film directed by Kenneth Branagh, based on the character of Jack Ryan created by Tom Clancy. It is an original story initially conceived by screenwriter Hossein Amini featuring the Jack Ryan character. The film stars Chris Pine in the title role, becoming the fourth actor to assume the role, following Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck. This film is dedicated to Tom Clancy, who died on October 1, 2013.

The film has an interesting story. While working as a junior analyst for the CIA's Directorate of Intelligence, Jack Ryan inadvertently uncovers evidence of an imminent terrorist attack. With no intelligence to verify his discovery, Ryan is promoted to field agent and sent to Moscow to continue his investigation, where he soon encounters Viktor Cherevin, an enigmatic businessman at the center of a plot to cripple the global economy. As Ryan learns to navigate the world of intelligence, fend off assassins, and address the potential breakdown of his marriage, he comes to the realization that it may already be too late to stop Cherevin from ushering in an economic catastrophe of unprecedented scale.

Thus the film has Chris Pine as Jack Ryan, Kevin Costner as William Harper, Kenneth Branagh as Viktor Cherevin, Keira Knightley as Cathy, David Paymer as an American diplomat, Colm Feore, Nonso Anozie, Gemma Chan, Karen David and Mikhail Baryshnikov.

Carrie

Carrie is a 2013 American supernatural horror film. It is the third film adaptation of Stephen King's 1974 novel of the same name, though Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Screen Gems, who produced the film, employed a script that was reportedly more faithful to King's original novel. The film stars Chloë Grace Moretz as the titular Carrie White, and Julianne Moore as Carrie's mother, Margaret White.

This Carrie White (played by Chloë Grace Moretz) is more conventionally pretty than the scrawny, big-eyed misfit played by Sissy Spacek in DePalma's classic. Her gawkiness is internalized. It's a product of her horrid home life, and the knowledge that she has undefined powers that make her different from other kids, and that they're flowering along with the onset of puberty, and that her mother Margaret (Julianne Moore) sees them as signs of evil, rather than world-changing human potential. In this scenario it does not matter whether Carrie is conventionally "pretty" or "not pretty." Because Carrie is an abused child, she feels ugly; because she feels ugly, she radiates a sense of worthlessness.

Carrie's body-shame was handed down by her mom, who's first seen in a prologue giving birth to Carrie, then briefly considering killing her with the same scissors she will ultimately use to cut the cord. In contrast to DePalma's version, Carrie's mom seems less a standard-issue, frothing-at-the-mouth "religious nut" movie character than a mentally ill single mom, eking out a living as a seamstress and dry cleaner. Moore's Margaret is a purely pitiable figure who scratches and cuts her own flesh, and who cannot love herself, let alone a child. As far as Carrie knows, this is a normal home life.

For all the psychological realism of Carrie and Margaret's relationship, however, this remake has a comic book feeling. The film treats the school's gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Judy Greer) — who punishes Chris Hargensen (Portia Doubleday), leader of the girls who torture Carrie — as Carrie's shadow "good" mother. Her kindness is a heartening alternative to Margaret's paranoia, unthinking cruelty, and emotional dislocation. When Carrie spares Miss Desjardin from the prom rampage, lifting her off a dance floor that she's about to fill with corpses, it's one of the most perversely touching gestures in a movie filled with them.

The inauguration of 11th hosting of the annual management event of Navi Mumbai based Bharti Vidyapeeth Institute of Management Studies and Research (BVIMSR), “Shikhar”, will be inaugurated by renowned cine star and TV artist Mr. Mukesh Khanna on January 20, 2014.
