Ameesha Patel Productions to come
up with its debut film ‘Desi Magic’

Desi Magic is a romantic
comedy film, directed by Mehul Atha
and produced by Ameesha Patel and Kuunal Goomer under the banner of Ameesha Patel Productions. It features
actors Ameesha Patel, Zayed Khan and
Sahil Shroff in the lead roles and
will be the second collaboration of Patel
and Khan after Vaada (2005). It is
slated to release on 23 May 2014.
The film has Ameesha Patel as Sonia Saxena/Mahi Deol, Zayed
Khan as Kunal, Sahil Shroff as Sahil, Randhir Kapoor as
Ashok Saxena, Lilette Dubey as Mrs. Saxena,
Ravi Kishan as Davidoff and Rajat Rawail
as Kimtee Singh.
Actress Ameesha Patel will be making her debut
as a film producer with this film under her production house, Ameesha Patel Productions.
This is the
first time that actress Ameesha Patel
will be doing a double role for a film. She will be playing two characters of
totally opposite nature.
The film
introduces DJ Aqeel as a film score
composer, his notable work being recreating the song Ek Do Teen from the 1988 film Tezaab, which was originally sung by
Alka Yagnik. The new version is
recorded by popular Bollywood singer Shreya
Ghoshal. Apart from that, Shreya
has also sung a slow number composed by Lalit
Pandit.
Let us wait and
see as to how Ameesha’s first film
