The Judge

The Judge is a 2014 American drama film directed by David Dobkin. The film stars Robert Downey, Jr., Robert Duvall, Vera Farmiga, Vincent D'Onofrio, Dax Shepard, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Lancaster, and Billy Bob Thornton.
Hank Palmer (Downey) is an attorney in the mould of Bobby Donnell of The Practice. He's rich, he's successful and he defends clients who are usually guilty but can afford Hank's astronomical fees. When his mother dies, Hank returns to his hometown of Carlinville, a blink-and-miss-it town in rural Indiana, where nothing changes. There's easy camaraderie between Hank and his brothers, Glen (Vincent D'onofrio) and Dale (Jeremy Strong). With their father, however, the relationship is very different.
Hank's father is Joseph Palmer (Robert Duvall), who has served the town's justice system for the past 42 years as a judge and is known for being scrupulously fair. Father and son can barely tolerate each other. Initially, it seems as though the friction arises from Joseph thinking Hank is a city lawyer with no principles, but quickly, it becomes evident that the roots of this hostility lie much further in the past. Hank, however, is in no mood to untangle old knots. He just wants to leave Carlinville and is literally on a plane, making his exit, when Glen calls to tell Hank their father has been accused of murder. The only person who can save Judge Joseph Palmer is, of course, his son Hank.

Things gets awry when Hariprasad Venkatesh Naidu dies suddenly while making love to his beloved sex-worker Mallika (Kavita Radheshyam). Dracula Untold

Dracula Untold is a 2014 dark fantasy action film directed by Gary Shore in his feature film debut and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Rather than focus on Irish novelist Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, the film creates an origin story for its title character, Count Dracula, by portraying the story of Vlad the Impaler, of whom Stoker was unaware until he was well into writing that novel. Luke Evans portrays the title character, with Sarah Gadon and Dominic Cooper in supporting roles.
Luke Evans stars as Vlad, a man toughened by war as a child soldier in the army of the Turkish sultan (actually, Ottoman, but what’s in a name?) who now leads a nation that is autonomous but still has to pay silver to the sultan as a tribute to his glory. Those around him are his airhead wife, Mirena (Sarah Gordon), and their son, Ingeras (Art Parkinson).
One day, word arrives that the new sultan, Mehmed (Dominic Cooper), demands 10,000 children over the age of 10 from Vlad’s people, and that Ingeras, who is not yet a teenager, has to join them, too. Vlad, who in his former life got the name “Vlad the Impaler” because he put the fear of God into his enemies by plopping the heads of those he killed on a stick, reluctantly does as he is told, until one of the sultan’s men calls him chicken, and he decides to strike back.
And this is where the whole business with blood comes in. Vlad knows his resistance will lead to terrible pain for him and his people, but in order to resist and conquer, he needs an extra bit of help. He thus heads to a cave deep inside Broken Tooth Mountain, whence an old vampire (for reasons never made clear) has not set foot in hundreds of years, even at night time. And that is where he sells his soul to save his nation.

Sonali Cable

Sonali Cable is a 2014 Bollywood film directed by Charudutt Acharya and produced by Ramesh Sippy and Rohan Sippy. The script is penned by Acharya himself. Newcomer, Rhea Chakraborty, has been roped in to play a pivotal role. Ali Fazal is paired opposite Rhea while Raghav Juyal makes his acting debut with this film.
Set in the cable internet turf war of Mumbai, Sonali Cable is the story of a ghetto girl and her ‘internet boys’, who take on a greedy conglomerate that’s out to decimate their spirit of enterprise.
Sonali Cable is a 'David versus Goliath' story, in the thick of the cable internet turf war in Mumbai. An ordinary girl puts her love, life and survival at stake, when she and her ragtag team come in the way of the expansion plans of India's largest corporation. The film wants to establish the growing corporate crushing small businesses without any scope for co existence.
The film has songs like EK Mulaqat, Gannu Rocks, Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang, Mausam Yeh Kyun Badal Gaya, Sapney Apney, Sikkay, EK Mulaqat Ho and EK Mulaqat (Unplugged).

Kill The Messenger

Kill the Messenger is an American drama thriller film directed by Michael Cuesta and written by Peter Landesman. It is based on the book of the same name by Nick Schou and the book Dark Alliance by Gary Webb. The film stars Jeremy Renner (in his first film as a producer), Michael Sheen, Andy Garcia, Ray Liotta, Barry Pepper, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosemarie DeWitt, Paz Vega, Oliver Platt, Richard Schiff, and Michael K. Williams.
Which is the better story: a massive conspiracy to use CIA connections to import cocaine into the United States, or the efforts of one reporter to uncover that intrigue?
Gary Webb, the protagonist of Kill the Messenger, pursued the first topic, and rightly so — even if it did destroy him. Director Michael Cuesta went with the second, probably because it's more manageable.
The story follows the reporter, who worked at the San Jose Mercury-News, from a simple drug bust to revelations that shook the country. Webb's articles, which have been widely attacked but not substantially refuted in many respects, showed that the flow of cocaine was linked to the Reagan administration's search for off-the-books financing of the Contras' war on Nicaragua's leftist government. The mainstream press — notably the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post — attempted to discredit Webb, basing its stories largely on anonymous intelligence agency sources. As his editors backpedaled, the reporter bailed. His 2004 death was ruled a suicide.
The story essentially begins when Webb (Jeremy Renner) meets a drug dealer's sexy girlfriend (played by the unignorable Paz Vega). She beguiles him with a low-cut dress and a copy of a secret grand-jury transcript that mentions the dealer's CIA connections. For the accused, case closed; for Webb, a world opens.
Soon, he's off to a Nicaraguan prison to meet a former cocaine baron (Andy Garcia) who mentions his pal "Ollie" — Oliver North. Then to Washington, where he meets a National Security Council member (Michael Sheen) who warns him, "some stories are too good to tell."
Webb doesn't believe that, and neither, with some trepidation, do his editors (Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Oliver Platt). At home, Webb's wife (Rosemarie Dewitt) is mostly supportive, although also anxious. To show the spirit of his insurrection, the reporter pounds out his government-rocking 1996 story to the beat of the Clash's "Know Your Rights." (The film's use of music is not subtle.)
Then the counterattack begins, and the movie makes Webb's work seem more vulnerable than it really was. His chastened editors complain, for example, that he didn't record his interviews, but the real-life Webb posted recordings of some interviews online.

Sex Tape

Sex Tape is a 2014 American comedy film directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Kate Angelo, Jason Segel, and Nicholas Stoller. The film stars Segel, Cameron Diaz, Rob Corddry, Ellie Kemper, and Rob Lowe.
Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) are a couple who have sex at every chance they can get. After having two children, they have fewer opportunities to have sex. While the children are away one night, they try to reignite their sex life. After Jay struggles to get an erection, Annie suggests making a sex tape. They film themselves having sex in every position listed in The Joy of Sex. After Annie asks Jay to delete the tape, he ends up instead inadvertently synchronizing the video to several iPads the couple had given away over time. After failing to get it out of the cloud, they set out to get back all of the gifted iPads, leading to a series of awkward encounters and close calls.
After collecting the iPads and deleting the videos, their neighbor's son threatens to upload their sex tape to YouPorn unless they give him $25,000. After failing to get the money, they break into the YouPorn headquarters and begin to destroy their servers. Their plan is quickly thwarted when an alarm sounds. The owner (Jack Black) and his cronies confront them and threaten to call the police, but agree not to do so in exchange for $15,000 to cover the damage. He also removes their video and explains that all they had to do to have a video removed was send him an e-mail request for such removal. After they have deleted all but one copy of the video, Jay and Annie decide to watch the video once themselves. Afterwards, they take the USB flash drive containing the video and go outside to smash it with a hammer, blend it, burn it with fire, and bury the pieces.
