3rd Interschool Cultural
Contest

The 3rd Inter School Cultural Contest organized by
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Navi Mumbai Kendra, and Lions Clubs International will
be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Marathi Sahitya Kala, Sanskruti Va Kala
Mandal, Sector 6, Vashi.
‘Several schools from Navi Mumbai are participating in
the contest. St Lawrence, ICL, New Bombay English High School, ASP Convent from
Ghansoli, MGM School from Nerul, Ram Krishnaa Academy from Panvel and many
other schools will present their items in two groups - children up to fourth
standard and those above it. There will be three trophies in each category.
Besides, the Bhavan’s Children’s Club had organized drawing and essay
competitions in ICL, Balbharati of Kharghar, St Lawrence and Sacred Heart
Schools in July and the prizes for these will be given on the occasion,’ says
Veena Adige, Coordinator Children’s and Cultural Programmes of Bharatiya Vidya
Bhavan, Navi Mumbai Kendra.
The Chief Guest for the occasion is MJF Lion Hunuman
Agarwal, 2nd Vice District Governor and the Guest of Honour is MJF Lion
Maneshwar Nayak, D.Co for GMT.
‘The programme will be inaugurated at 10 a.m. and the
prize distribution ceremony will be held immediately after all the items have
been presented,’ informs Lion Savitha H. Nayak, MJF, DG and Cultural Activity
and Community Services.
Present on the occasion will be Shri Harish Aiyer,
Honorary Secretary of Bhavan’s Navi Mumbai Kendra, Dr Sengupta, Dr Venugopalan,
COO, Amritabharati and several other dignitaries.
