Juinagar residents feel threatened by unbarricaded rly track crossing
By Dinesh Kamath

NAVI MUMBAI: The Juinagar residents feel endangered by the unbarricaded and unmanned railway track crossing near the Juinagar residential area and hence they have asked the authorities to construct a barricade at the railway crossing junction. The residents around this area who cross the tracks on their vehicles feel threatened by the possibility of train hitting their vehicles. This particular spot had many mishaps having occurred there. Most of the accidents were related to trains hitting vehicles. The local politicians have also corresponded to the railway authorities to come up with a barricade at that critical spot and also to deploy a guard over there to guide the vehicle drivers. As a kind of precautionary measure, the railway authorities have put up a board asking both pedestrians and vehicle drivers not to cross the track.
