Somehow stop the terrorist attacks
Seven soldiers died in the terrorist attack on an Army base in Nagrota. The attack comes just two months after militants stormed an Army camp in Uri, resulting in the death of 19 soldiers.
While New Delhi does not have the luxury of choosing unilaterally between relative peace and a lingering state of low-intensity conflict, there needs to be an appraisal of the costs that have come with the breakdown of the 2003 ceasefire — for instance, crossfire is routinely a cover for Pakistan in assisting terrorists to cross over to Indian territory. Creating peace is a complex process.
Now, we have two way to go; the first is to talk with Pakistan at bureaucratic level to maintain peace and cease firing at border and the second is we will have to be equipped with high technology defence security system because this region very sensitive area at all time.
India should give a chance to new Army chief of Pakistan. The terrorist attack may be an incitement for India by few vested interests in Pakistan, who are against any rapprochement between India and Pakistan. The attack may also be a signal to new Pak army chief that peace with India will not be tolerated. India must keep its border and army camps under full proof security, refute Pakistan border firing and terrorist infiltration, but open a back door channel to find the views of Pak army chief on India and Pak relation. .
After India's war on fake currency menace from Pakistan, the focus now shifts to fake police / army uniforms. What are the holes that give room for faking our uniforms? Along with those, the production and distribution network of fake uniforms must be quickly identified and eliminated. Those contractors who stitch uniforms must be under constant surveillance. We cannot afford to take chances. The authorized personnel of our army, BSF, police and other security personnel and vehicles they use should be subjected to an additional security check at highly sensitive access points, on the lines of a fool proof OTP, as applicable to Netbanking transactions. This will enhance the access control measures in place and considerably reduce chances for the rogue elements from sneaking in, in high security zones.
Peace between countries that have not seen good days in recent times is hard to talk about. But loss of human life is a pain irrespective of nationality. Therefore, if not peace, at least ceasefire has to be attempted irrespective of degree of hostility at the border.

Revenge on a country through infiltration and fidayeen attack resulted in surgical strike and this in turn led to increased attacks and infiltration attempts. This cycle needs to be put to rest without any further loss of time. Pakistan has a new Chief at the helm in Army who has assured to arrest firing in LOC. His rich experience comes in handy but ability to convince militant groups who are more active from behind than in front would be a challenge. Yet a plan to reduce loss of human life is an urgent need and both India and Pakistan have to engage and work hand to hand notwithstanding other issues where disparity will continue.
