An Indian wins Miss World Crown after 17 years
India’s Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World 2017 among 118 contestants from various countries at Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. She is indeed so beautiful that it won’t be surprising if she lands in Bollywood as a lead actress.
Before entering Bollywood she might be seen frequently endorsing cosmetic products. This achievement of Manushi is equivalent to a sportsperson bringing to India a gold medal from Olympics or some other great achievements.
Beauty pageants are a creation of the West. But Indians have time and again proved that they could beat easily even the best White beauties. Yes, Manushi is indeed very beautiful the way Priyanka Chopra looked during her young days.
One cannot understand as to why some people are so negative about someone’s achievement? How many 20 year olds can stand up on world stage and say one cohesive sentence? Chill guys, give credit and enjoy the proud moment.
It’s been a long time since an Indian has won an International Beauty Contest. This particular contest in which Manushi participated and won is a very organized sophisticated event. It is organized with lot of pomp and show and cores of dollars kept aside.
Every Indian winner states that she will work for Poor, Mankind, to end Starvation etc. These winners not only speak but also practise what they utter. Manushi, who was Miss India earlier, indeed deserves the first place or the title. It was good to hear her say as to how much she loves her parents and how great her parents are.
Coming from a privileged medical specialist parents background, she has indeed exhibited extraordinary abilities to be a beauty with a purpose. It won’t be surprising if she will soon find Bollywood filmmakers queuing up to sign her in their films. It won’t be surprising if we see her share screen with likes of Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan.

Manushi’s dream was to be a cardiac surgeon. But she shows promise of landing in the glamorous world of Bollywood. What is left to be seen is whether she will rise to the position of Number One Bollywood Heroine like Aishwarya Rai.
