Indian students in America
Indians in America are called the model minority. Tech field is where Indians have both ascended to the top of the biggest firms. But unfair barriers are being raised against the entry of Indian students into America.  US universities are pursuing racial balancing and campus diversity expressly at the expense of Indians and other Asians. High-scoring applicants from India face far higher cut-offs than students from less populous countries.
While India’s rate of growth outpaces China’s, it is China that sends the most students to the US. Indians contribute 17% of total earnings from overseas students in US universities; America should understand that tree cross-border flow of intelligent and hard-working people makes the world a better place.
Indian students and talented youth prefer to settle and study abroad since Indian politicians give importance to reservation, quota, Students Union in colleges/Universities, Corruption etc. There are no job opportunities in India and standard of education is not at desired level.
How is Indian students going to America helping India? Most of them never come back; they are generally from well-to-do families and unlike workers in the Gulf countries, they don't have to send remittances home. One interesting statistic: India spends thirty thousand crores a year on higher education, while Indians spend 40,000 crores on foreign education.
However, America seems to be turning its back on the world. Fewer Indian students are getting admitted to their universities, even fewer foreign tourists are visiting the US due to visa and security related considerations. Good news is that eleven countries, led by Japan, are reviving the Trans Pacific Partnership. India should join too. Our stagnant exports should impel us to seek more globalisation, even if America is moving in the other direction.

While criticising America, we should think as to how much racial profiling and discrimination is there in Indian universities? Are all foreigners especially Africans given equal opportunities to apply and get admission to Indian universities without any bias towards Indian applicants?
