Trying to save the country or family?

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra launched her campaign in Uttar Pradesh with a three-day steamer ride on the Ganga. She said that she had stepped out of her home as the country and the Constitution were in danger.

Actually the fact is, in 60-65 years of rule by Congress, our country and constitution was in danger. Congress rule consisted of 119 amendments in Constitution since 1948, Jeep scam to Coal, Augusta, Bofors, 2G 3G, and innumerable scams.  Now, the Congress is in danger as it is losing its existence and one has to come out to pack bag and baggage.

Priyanka scoffed at Modi for calling himself a chowkidar. In fact, we are all chowkidars. We behold everything around and learn from it.  We are watchmen. We form opinions based on surveillance. We identify good and bad by inspection. We have responsibility to guard ourselves.

The legacy of Congress are corruption and reservation plus excesses committed during emergency and pogrom unleashed against Sikhs. North indians are running all length and breadth of the country in search of cheap labour. That illustrates the magnitude of disregard of the ruling class for past six decades. Bofors, 2g spectrum, Satyam scam, commonwealth games scam, coal scam, chopper scam, Tatra truck scam, Adarsh scam, telgi scam, insurance scam, telecom scam, fodder scam, Ketan Parekh scandal, taj corridor case, oil for food programme scam, Bombay stock exchange fraud, Madhu Koda scam, food grain scam – these are the contribution of the family. After a lapse of five years the family is out to mesmerize citizens with lies and charisma to pick a chance to loot the country.

Ironical is her 'act' in the temple on the ghat where she is juxtaposed with her grandmother who totally threw out parliament overnight and jailed the leaders who were a threat to her autocracy. Now this lady says she has come out to protect constitution.

Priyanka Gandhi coming out in the open just one month before the elections raises all our eyebrows. Politics has become the part time job for her. UP is a big state, of course, not contributing much to the GDP. The people generally are poor, and Priyanka is trying to woo the women voters at least, by invoking the blessings of Lord Hanuman as did by her grandmother. Let Priyanka answer why her party in 2004 & 2009 took the support of regional parties and formed the UPA till 2014 elections,  and honestly let her spell the  development of the Country and  how Countries viewed India and its  policies. The people are not prepared to forget the Emergency period of Indira Gandhi.  Congress and Priyanka have more fears of Modi returning to power in 2019 also, as even people like US President are lauding the efforts of Modi single-handedly in making India economically stronger.  Can Priyanka name a single person from among the senior Congress men, as a PM candidate?

Priyanka is come out to save her brother and husband. It was her husband who termed democracy as banana republic and masses of this country as Mango people? The greatest danger for India is this family and congress party. Who is Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra to comment on Constitution? Does she know what the Constitution is and how it was tampered by none other than her grandmother Indira Gandhi during the infamous Emergency of 1975-77? What right and authority does she have to say that Constitution was in danger and she had to come out of her house to save it? Nothing can be more hilarious than that. The media is also obsessed and obliged to this family because they come from the dynasty and start singing paeans in their support. The average voter is wise enough to separate milk and water like the legendary swan. So let her cry from the rooftops that Constitutions is in danger and she or her Gandhi family alone can save it, people will show them their place.

Who has caused damage to the democracy and the Constitution?  It is none other than her grandmother Indira and her father Rajiv. While Indira kept the Constitution under suspension and imposed Emergency, jailed thousands of citizens, her father Rajiv twisted the Constitution to suit to Vote bank politics. If she and her brother are talking in public platform meaninglessly, it is due to the fact that Democracy and the Constitution are still alive in India.  Let she tell specifically in what manner NDA has caused damage to democracy and the Constitution.
