This film is a horror comedy by producers Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Following this development, the makers have now changed the name to 'RoohiAfza'

The film ‘RoohiAfza’ is being directed by Hardik Mehta, who has been a part of films like' Chaar Cutting' and 'Kaamyaab'. After bagging films like Dhadak, Takht and Gunjan Saxena Biopic, Janhvi Kapoor will now be seen in the film Roohi Afza. The actress will be seen romancing Rajkummar Rao.

So, what is this film about? Here's what we know so far. Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha recreate the iconic DDLJ Climax in London and people are loving this new Raj-Simran Jodi. Janhvi will reportedly be seen in double role and the title is based on these two characters - Roohi and Afsana. Her roles are totally contrast to each other. It took some time to finalise the female lead.

Speaking of Rajkummar Rao, we already saw his stellar performance in another horror comedy film, Stree. This will be his second experiment in the same genre. The makers were toying between Varun Dhawan and him for the role. Rajkummar was finally chosen for this entertaining drama.

The new film be exact opposite of what they showed in the first installment. The sequel will have two gay men pretending to be straight. It was reported that Alia Bhatt has been approached for this sequel. There were also rumours that Arjun Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan would be the final cast. Thus Rajkummar Rao has two films with him – ‘RoohiAfza’ and ‘Dostana 2’.
