Love is God
A famous poet
had said, “Do not snap the tender thread of love; once snapped, it will not
rejoin and even if the ends are tied, a knot would remain.”
We should
control our ego or else we won’t be able to judge the world properly. We should
be careful when we speak since even one mistake can make us regret later and
damage relationship.
Buddha had
once proved to a dacoit that it was easy to kill but it was impossible to
revive a dead man. Buddha just asked the dacoit to cut a twig. The dacoit cut
the twig. Next, Buddha asked him to rejoin the two pieces and make them one
again. The dacoit could not do that. Buddha then told him that if he could not
give life, he had no right to take it away. The dacoit then gave up dacoity and
became the follower of Buddha.
We should be
full of love and care for others. We should never snap the ties of love. If
only all the good people start loving, the criminals in our society will turn
into good and loving citizens.
If there is
one thing that makes life worth living, it is love. Love invigorates all
creatures. The Gods too crave for a devotee’s outpouring of love, unquestioning
surrender and overflowing affection, very much like a devotee who longs for
divine love.
Conditional
love pieces together conditions, agreements and demands between loving
individuals. Unconditional love stands at a higher level. Love between parents
and children are generally unconditional.
Pure love
manifests itself in an individual’s thought, every spoken word and each shade
of nature revealing the nuances of life to him or her. Love keeps the spark of life alive, becomes a
harbinger of emancipation and communicates the strength of unknown forces
hidden within us.
Loving is
abstaining from violence in thought and deed to make the best of our Mother Earth.
Only love can make life a big success. Someone had rightly said, “Love is God.”
