A team of 15 strong wonderful singers and 10 musicians presented selected very popular melodious foot tapping 24 songs of yesteryears and kept a house full audience enthralled for two hours. The uniqueness of the orchestra was that all the singers were non-professional singers and majority of them were practicing medical doctors from Mumbai.
ITM Music Circle organises a variety of music and dance programmes periodically and invites members of Sr. Citizens associations, Ex-Defence Personnel, Rotarians, Literary groups, local music lovers, young students and faculty. Dr. P. V. Ramana, the chairman of ITM believes in giving back to society the best of Indian arts and culture, which is generally not available to the art lovers.
The VP – Institutional Development of ITM Group of Institutions, Prof. RSS Mani, welcomed the full house audience and briefed the purpose behind hosting the music programme. He welcomed the music teachers of the singers viz. Sh. Umesh Bipin and Smt. Sangeeta Khare by presenting potted tulsi sapling and a token gift. Prof. Arjun Naik, the coordinator of ITM Music Circle, welcomed Dr. Kumar Swamy, the MOC and singer of the show.
The show began with Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein... the title song of film Kabhi Kabhi sung by Kamal Shah. He was followed by O re majhi..... from film Bandini composed by S. D. Burman. Dr. Vinod Karkare, a practicing Orthopedic Surgeon mesmerised the audience by his toned voice and more by his energy level at the ripe age of 71.
Famous Hindi film songs, which one normally gets to listen on Vivid Bharti's 'Bhule Bisarey Geet' programme were presented by Nilesh Khatri, Dr. Kumar Swamy, Dr. Sandhya Puri, Dr. Mohan Iyer, Anupama Jairam, Anant Jairam  and others. The singers took the senior members of the audience to a journey down the memory lane and recalled their college days. The young students enjoyed the richness of the lyrics, the music full of romance and naughtiness and the variety of emotions created during the vintage film songs presented live by the doctors and professionals.
The programme ended by a chorus song from 'Do bighaa zamin' by Manna Dey ...'Mausam beetaa jaaye' ...after two long hours of memorable performance by all singers.

All the singers and musicians were felicitated by Dr Lakshmy Mohan, Campus Head ITM Kharghar, Ms. Jasmine Jha, Jt. Coordinator of ITM Music Circle, Dr. Adhikari, Dean Academics, Prof. Bhavsar, CIO, Nilesh Rai, Head Administration & Vrushali Nilakhe from ITM HIS.
