CBD-BELAPUR: IIM Indore Mumbai Campus is organizing NESTLÉ a+ Pro-GrowI-Run based on the theme “Run for your Heart” on Sunday, 13th November, 2016 at Mahaavir Icon sector-15, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The roads of sector 15, sector 11 and sector 29 of CBD Belapur will be covered during the run from 7:00 am to 9:30 am.
“I-Run as an idea is aimed at making a meaningful difference and contributing to the society by spreading awareness about heart diseases. To fulfill its aim, organizing committee of I-Run has collaborated with Heart Foundation - The social initiative partner to execute a first of its kind marathon in Navi Mumbai,” said Sanu Kumar, organizer of the event. “Participants will get a chance to contribute towards the noble cause of contributing to the society by spreading awareness about heart diseases through Heart Foundation” he added.
“I-Run’16 is more than a marathon. It will be a run to celebrate and contribute towards the formation of a healthy society which is sensitive towards prevalence of heart diseases, a society which incubates the curative and precautionary measures to be incorporated in lifestyles in the modern era, to lead a fit life free of heart diseases” said Dr. Jayakar Ellis, President Heart Foundation.
I-Run will see participation from people from all walks of life and will have participants aged 16 and above. Prizes worth Rs 2,00,000 will be provided to winners. First 100 runners will be provided with medallions. Upon registering, participants will get a T-shirt and a bib. Refreshments and hydration will be provided for all the participants. Also every participant will be given certificate of participation.
