Police detect
the main conspirator in Lahoria murder case
By Dinesh Kamath
NAVI MUMBAI: The Navi Mumbai police have come to the conclusion
that absconding architect Anurag Garg is the main conspirator in the murder of
Navi Mumbai builder Sunil Lahoria.
Garg
worked as architect for builders Suresh Bijlani, Bhupesh Gupta, S P Agarwal,
Sumit Bacchewar and Vijay Gagra. All of them are accused in this case. They had
differences with Lahoria over alleged illegalities in various projects in Navi
Mumbai. While Bacchewar and Gupta have been arrested, the others are absconding.
Garg
was facing the danger of losing his licence since Lahoria had complained
against him at the Council of Architecture.
The
police are also on the look out for Bijlani's younger brother Mahesh Bijlani,
who had met Emmanual Amolik after the murder of Lahoria. Mahesh was the first
person to know from Amolik that Lahoria has been killed.
The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the anticipatory
bail application of absconding builder Suresh Bijlani in the Lahoria murder
case.
