Congress adopts tit-for-tat policy
The Congress accused Prime
Minister Narendra Modi of using anti-Pakistan rhetoric merely to drum up
support for his politics domestically. They were citing an unpublicised letter
from Modi to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Pakistan’s National Day.
Meanwhile, BJP president Amit Shah continued his attack on the Congress
over Pitroda’s comments. He asserted
that Pitroda’s statement appeared to convey the impression that the Pulwama
attack was a “routine” incident carried out by a few people for which Pakistan
could not be blamed. The BJP chief asked Gandhi to make his party’s stand clear
on the issue.
Congress’ Mani Shankar Iyer and Sidhhu are working overtime to embrace Pakistan
Army/ISI/Jamad islami and asking the help from terrorist country to defeat PM
Modi at any cost is well known. No need for lessons from Congress. If Modi did
not send greetings (that too low profile), Congress would have twisted this as
missed opportunity. Either way it’s just Modi hating than Indian welfare at
mind of Congress
It is not a love letter and what is shown is not love. It is a strategy of playing hot and cold. That
is carrying out surgical strikes and a little latter writing comforting
letters. This would make the neighbour befuddled as to how to behave with us,
whether as an enemy or friend? This would make them to not treat us as a hard
enemy.
Sidhu is called anti-national by BJP for hugging and getting Kartarpur
deal. Congress has gone to such a low level that the party considers even
customary greetings as political issue for campaigning. Congress and its
leaders should try to avoid blame game and to impress the people by their
action plan which will benefit the people.
This party has been issuing statements questioning the veracity of the
version put out by the Indian Air Force and generally supporting the Pakistani
views. The other day when the Foreign Minister of Pakistan went to China for
talks he quoted these very same statements and claimed that a large sections of
Indians themselves are now questioning the Indian government's policies.
Emissaries of Congress party visits Pakistan for consultations on a regular
basis. Mani Shankar Ayyer visited Pakistan and sought their help to win Gujarat
elections. Only the other day Rahul Gandhi's guru Pitroda made some atrocious
anti-national statements, which are now being debated by the media. And now
this comment coming from the party is too much to digest.
Wen BJP was not in power, they made these comments about "love
letters to Pakistan" by then PM Manmohan Singh. When BJP is in power, Congress
is doing exactly the same. There is a
saying in the South 'If your friend
jumps into the well, you need not necessarily do it too. Just because BJP did this when they were in
the opposition, it is an opportunity to the Congress to show their maturity by
saying 'You said this when you were in the opposition but we are not going to
repeat it because we want peace in the region or whatever they want to say'.
Remember, if they come to power they will be negotiating for Peace. It is of no
use shouting all the unpalatable words. It would be better to expose and
declare what your approach will be. Ultimately we will be deciding who is who
and what we should do.
A country’s PM has to maintain certain international obligations/decorums
and can’t be made election issues. Modi is a person but at the same time he is
our PM and has to take decisions regarding foreign affairs and country’s
security needs. His love and commitments for our motherland and fellow Indians
are beyond any doubt and suspicion.
