Provide visual confirmation of IAF’s
Successful Strike
A senior defence official said, “IAF went for precision
strikes in Balakot. During the air strike on Balakot in Pakistan, the Indian
Air Force (IAF) went in for ‘clinical precision’ and hit the intended targets. The
IAF didn’t go in for propaganda bombing. The objective was to hit the targets
but avoid collateral damage to possible non-militant staff in adjacent
buildings. The munitions were chosen accordingly.”
“In all, the IAF hit four buildings, two of which were the
main training complex and the other a seminary where religious training was
imparted. The other two targets included accommodations for the cadres,” he added.
He claimed that the radar and high-resolution satellite
images showed “we have hit the targets.”
Pakistan’s PAF jets used H4 standoff munitions to target Army
positions but they were intercepted and the bombs fell in the open, the
official said.
Should we ignore the counter claims made by some news
agencies?
India for the first time sought the terror camp deep inside
Pakistan and destroyed it. The IAF and the Centre that gave the nod deserve the
accolades. But how come the Defence forces or officers feel they are obligated
to praise the Government and to give a spin to the large casualty story to prop
it up in this election year, one wonders.
Someone said, “Like Indian cricket team there are experts in
armed forces and they are more capable than us in handling the matter. We
should repose confidence in them and leave it to them to decide what is best
for the country and the people.”
But why is the Indian Government refusing to provide
photographic visual confirmation of IAF’s Successful Strike. The US provided
worldwide extensive Video proof of its Missile Strikes against ISIS in Syria.
The US provided worldwide complete video of its entire Operation in Abbotabad,
Pakistan, to eliminate Osama bin Laden. Why Indian government is hiding visuals
of Army’s (surgical) strike in PoK & IAF’s Strike in Balakot? Why???
