Priyanka Chopra is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’. She will be playing a royal Marathi queen Kashibai, who is Bajirao’s wife. Priyanka has already got in the groove and has started to play the character of Kashibai most effortlessly in no time! After all Priyanka has been the Queen of Bollywood for a long time.

Priyanka will play a cop in Prakash Jha’s 'Gangaajal 2'. Ajay Devgn and Prakash Jha had announced sequel of 'Gangaajal' and made it clear that the film will have a female protagonist. Priyanka has been finalized for the role of the fiery no nonsense police officer.

Priyanka Chopra, will also make her debut in American TV with Quantico. The actor will play a FBI trainee Alex Parrish in the drama. In this film, Priyanka is seen sporting worn-out jacket and tee teamed up with rugged denims. Priyanka will star along side Jake McLaughlin, Dougray Scott and Aunjanue Ellis, Tate Ellington, Graham Rogers, Johanna Braddy and Yasmine Al Massri in Quantico. For Priyanka, the Quantico pilot is her first assignment in the US after she spent the past few years trying to foray into the American showbiz industry. Quantico revolves around a bunch of young FBI recruits, each one of whom has a secret behind joining the bureau. The show will narrate their adventures and experiences as they train on Quantico base in Virginia, even as secrets of their past start emerging.

A popular dancing reality show that features leading celebrity couples from the TV industry has also been known to have A-list judges. And with the seventh season soon to kick off, producer Ekta Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that it is as high on star value as the previous editions were. If all goes well, Priyanka Chopra might be the one bringing that star quotient. Ekta and her team have introduced several new angles this season, such as locking the contestants in a house for the duration of their stay on the show. Previously judged by actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra, director Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis, the panel will now see a complete change. Director Anurag Basu is on board, and talks with three choreographers are on. Talks were also on with Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, but nothing materialised. Priyanka Chopra was at the top of their list, but talks stagnated when she left for the US to shoot for a TV show. Now, talks are progressing well. Depending on her film and ad commitments, she will soon take a call. Ekta might be the fourth judge, who will have the power to overrule decisions made by the other three.

It seems Reema Kagti has finally pulled a casting coup. The film in question being Mr. Chalu and the film will have Priyanka Chopra and Fawad Khan playing lead roles. Originally titled Mr. Chalu, Reema had announced the film with Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut initially but both the actors opted out of the film soon after.
