Beware of Sino-Pak nexus
India has been longing for justice for victims of the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. But Pakistan is not bringing the accused to book. On top of that China is extending a solid support to Pakistan by blocking India’s request in the UN Security Council Sanctions Committee to re-arrest Lashkar-e-Taiba commander simply because freeing him violates UN Resolution 1267. US is also supporting Indian by asking Pakistan to re-arrest Lakhvi.
China has betrayed India once again after belying its own stated commitment to fight terror, as reiterated in its joint statement with India following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit to China in May. China had earlier too blocked or delayed India’s attempts at the UN to file separate proposals on Pakistan-based terrorists.
Now India has raised the Pak-based terrorists issue in a multilateral forum, and US and many advanced countries are all support for India. India has now realized that Indo-Pak issues should not be considered as just bilateral issues anymore and cooperation of UN is absolutely necessary to resolve these issues. Also India should build her military and economic capabilities to bridge the gap with China or else India will never be taken seriously. 26/11 is not something that any Indian will forget in a hurry. It has been a matter of observation for half a century that Pakistan–China nexus has been primarily aimed at India in an attitude of sheer anti-Indianism, which both of them share.
We in India should not expect that China shall miss any opportunity of hurting India in world councils in every possible way. In Pakistan and China there is no goodwill for India. Indian policies concerning these two countries need re-thinking. India should not expect any favor even for fight against terrorism. China will never cooperate with India because it considers India as its enemy no 1. It is pouring money in Pakistan only and only to harm India by all possible ways and means. China and Pakistan are new found allies. But their action is bound to fire back owing to the fact that today India has massive support in USA.

Pakistan gives VIP treatment to terrorists who target India. China's support for state sponsored terrorism directed against India by Pakistan needs to be condemned. It is an unfriendly act and clearly shows that China cannot be trusted. India needs to take up this matter in the international forum and also prepare itself to deter Pak-China attacks against it.
