Angry demonstrations by
devout Hindu organisations at Azad Maidan
Minister Tawade promises
to take action

In
connection with false history of King Shivaji that was printed in the text
books at Telangana, angry demonstrations were held between 1 pm to 5 pm at Azad
Maidan under the aegis of National Hindu Movement, Hindu Jananagruti Samiti (Panvel)
and other Hindu organisations.
“I
will speak with the Education Minister of Telangana State and Union Minister
for Human Resource Development for stopping the contempt of Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj through the Telangana textbook in which a false contemptuous history is
presented. I will also write to them requesting the inclusion of true history
of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the textbook,” assured Mr. Vinod Tawade,
Education Minister, Maharashtra, to the delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
