New movies released in Navi Mumbai

Shaandaar

Shaandaar (English: Fabulous) is an Indian romantic comedy film, directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. It stars Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles, with Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles.
Based against the backdrop of the 'Shaandaar' wedding, is a love triangle between (our protagonists) Alia and Jagjinder Joginder (Shahid) and Bipin (Alia'sfather). Bipin believes there's no guy who will be good enough for his daughter while Alia is a dreamer but her dreams are whacked out and Jagjinder Joginder is a doer, he can make anything happen! And for obvious reasons Bipin hates Jagjinder Joginder. The journey of Alia, Jagjinder Joginder and Bipin in the chaotic and lavish wedding is the story of 'Shaandaar'. It's a fairy tale love story that everyone has always dreamt of.
The film has Shahid Kapoor as Jagjinder Joginder, Alia Bhatt as Alia, Pankaj Kapur as Tata, Sanjay Kapoor, Sanah Kapoor as Isha, Vikas Verma, Sushma Seth, Diljit Dosanjh, Shibani Dandekar, Anjana Sukhani, Niyati and Karan Johar.
The music and background score for the film is composed by Amit Trivedi. The film has songs like "Gulaabo", "Shaam Shaandaar", "Nazdeekiyaan", "Senti Wali Mental", "Raitaa Phailgaya" and "Neend Na Mujhko Aaye".

Ranviir - The Marshal

Ranviir - The Marshal is a 2015 Indian action film based on martial arts produced by Alok Rajan Sharma under his production house Cine Act 1 Productions and directed by Milind Ukey. It stars Rishy and Ramnitu Chaudhary in lead roles. It also stars reputed actors like Rati Agnihotri, Rajesh Kattar and Shibani Kashyap. The film is about a young man constantly plagued with disturbing dreams involving a martial arts hero fighting for truth, justice and courage.
The story of this movie is interesting. Each sequence is artistically designed. The movie had experienced professional action directors from across the globe to perform the martial arts with Rishi. The climax sequence showcases around eight different and unique style of martial arts action. The entire intention behind making this movie was to promote martial arts in India.
The film stars martial art expert Rishi Sharma, Rati Agnihotri, Faith, Pratiek Parmar and Niraj Vikram. The film based on the martial art of Taekwondo.
RP Yadav is the action director of the film. It has amazingly choreographed fight sequences.

The Last Witch Hunter

The Last Witch Hunter is an American supernatural action film directed by Breck Eisner. The film stars Vin Diesel as an immortal witch-hunter who must stop a plague from ravaging New York City.
The movie has an interesting plot. An immortal witch-hunter is tasked with the job of coming between the covens of New York City and their goal to destroy humanity by way of a horrific plague. In order to accomplish this, he must partner up with a beautiful female witch, something he thought he would never do.
The modern world holds many secrets, but the most astounding secret of all is that witches still live amongst us; vicious supernatural creatures intent on unleashing the Black Death upon the world. Armies of witch hunters battled the unnatural enemy across the globe for centuries, including Kaulder (Vin Diesel), a valiant warrior who managed to slay the all-powerful Queen Witch, decimating her followers in the process. In the moments right before her death, the Queen curses Kaulder with her own immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. Today Kaulder is the only one of his kind remaining, and has spent centuries hunting down rogue witches, all the while yearning for his long-lost loved ones. However, unbeknownst to Kaulder, the Queen Witch is resurrected and seeks revenge on her killer causing an epic battle that will determine the survival of the human race.

Rock The Kasbah

Rock the Kasbah is an American comedy film directed by Barry Levinson and written by Mitch Glazer. The film stars Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Zooey Deschanel, Kate Hudson, Leem Lubany, Scott Caan, Danny McBride, Kelly Lynch, Arian Moayed, Taylor Kinney, and Beejan Land.
Richie Lanz (Bill Murray), a has-been rock manager takes his last remaining client on a USO tour of Afghanistan. When Richie finds himself in Kabul, abandoned, penniless and without his U.S. passport, he discovers a young Afghan girl with an extraordinary voice and manages her through Afghanistan's version of American Idol.

In other words, Has-been rock manager Richie Lanz (Bill Murray), dumped and stranded in war-torn Kabul by his last remaining client (Zooey Deschanel), discovers Salima Khan (Leem Lubany), a Pashtun teenager with a beautiful voice and the courageous dream of becoming the first woman to compete on national television in Afghanistan’s version of “American Idol.” Richie partners with a savvy hooker (Kate Hudson), a pair of hard-partying war profiteers (Danny McBride and Scott Caan) and a hair-trigger mercenary (Bruce Willis) and, braving dangerous cultural prejudices, manages his new protégée into becoming the “Afghan Star.”
