‘Hindi Qurbana Songs &
Gospel Songs’ launched at Vashi

VASHI: A music
compilation christened ‘Hindi Qurbana Songs & Gospel Songs’ was launched on
October 2, 2015 at St. Thomas Orthodox Aramana Chapel at Sector 10, Vashi, near
St Mary’s School, Mar Theophilus Marg. The launching was done by H. G.
Geevarghese Mar Coorilos, Metropolitan of Bombay Diocese and H. G. Mathews Mar
Theodosius, Metropolitan of Idukki Diocese (both the Metropolitans belong to
the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church).
Several national and international stalwarts from the
music industry have worked on the compilation, including the likes of Bernie
Grundman (Bernie Grundman Mastering, Hollywood, California) - a Grammy award
winner, Ashish Manchanda of Flying Carpet Productions - known primarily for his
work in association with Bollywood, Paras Nath - a session flautist in
Bollywood, Vipin Lal – a singer from the famous Kerala based music band
Thaikkudam Bridge.
The compilation along with other resources will be
available for free and can be accessed on the website, www.biblianomusic.com.
The compilation has been produced by Bibliano Music, a brainchild of Robin
Thomas.
'Bibliano Music', a first-of-its-kind concept is an
independent, global ecumenical platform established for promoting Christian
gospel/devotional music. The objectives of Bibliano Music are two-fold:
i. To make
more content available in the space of Gospel music
ii. To ignite
a spark amongst gospel content creators and to provide them a platform through
which they could share their content globally.
