NAVI MUMBAI: The
Ryan International Group of Institutions celebrated the No School Bag Day and
Reading Day on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam,
former President of India who was popularly known as the “Missile Man of
India”. Students in all schools carried story books to read in the class. They
also exchanged their books with other students.
Children read books and participated in various activities such as Essay
Writing, Sketching, Newsletter Making, Power point Presentation and Poem
Writing all in memory of Dr. Kalam who has been a true inspiration to India.
“No School Bag Day” was a very Happy & Memorable day
for the students of the group’s school. It was cherished by the students. On
this day as a mark of respect to the true “Bharat Ratna”, school students got a
wonderful opportunity to increase their knowledge and were encouraged to know
Dr. Kalam well for his contribution to education, writing and public service
and leadership. Student got opportunity
to participate in some knowledge building activities.
In some schools there was skit presentation and Short
anecdotes and quotes were read out for inspiration. The various activities
prominently gave the message that Dr Kalam wanted student to ask questions,
increase knowledge and never stop learning. All the schools of the group had an
enriching day filled with memorable activities for students to grow and enhance
their knowledge.
