NAVI MUMBAI: Inauguration of ‘Shikhar 2014’at BVIMSR marked with the presence of renowned cine star and TV artist Mukesh Khanna (Shaktiman) and Police Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Ashok Sharma. This event was the 11th hosting of the annual management event of Navi Mumbai based Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management Studies and Research (BVIMSR).

While inaugurating the event ‘Shikhar 2014’, the guest of honour Mukesh Khanna emphasized that he is sharing his two identification: “Shaktiman” for the children and youth and “Bhisma Pitamah” for the older generation apart from his own identity. He suggested that youth of India must do exercise and must maintain a good heath so that they can contribute well for the national building.

Shri Ashok Kumar Sharma, the commissioner of police, Navi Mumbai has emphasized on the safety on roads. He has also given safety tips to avoid accidents and fatal on the roads. He has also shared the alarming statistics on the road accidents in year 2013 and showed his concern.

This year “Shikhar” has specific relevance with enthusiastic participation of more than 75   institutions and colleges from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra. They all are contesting for the attractive prizes in areas of academic brilliance, Indian culture and sports activities.
