NAVI MUMBAI:
It is decided that the father and son who are in the custody of the crime
branch in connection with the Navi Mumbai builder Sunil Lahoria murder case
will be made to appear in the court as witnesses against builder Suresh Bijlani
and architect Anuragh Garg.
Gerald Bhovin (67), a vehicle service
centre owner and his son Jackson (28) are the father and son duo arrested by
Crime Branch on Wednesday for delivering twice a packet containing money to
retired police inspector Emmanuel Amolik as directed by Garg's driver.
The two had no direct role but the Crime
Branch believes that they will serve as strong witnesses.
Both the father and son were made to
pass on to Amolik bags containing money twice, once before the murder of
Lahoria and another after the murder.
Another fact that came to light was that
Bhovin is a friend of both Bijlani and Garg. The police also have come across
an interesting information that Garg has nearly 29 cars and the police is
trying to confirm this info.
