NAVI MUMBAI: BJP-Sena-RPI Mahayuti’s candidate Rajan Vichare for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections will along with his party workers stage an election campaign at Koperkhairane Sector 15 to Sector 19. At Shivajirao Annansaheb Patil Garden, he will address in a ‘Mahila Melawa’ gathering of a big group of women. This function will take place on 9 April 2014 from 4 am till 10 pm. Present during this occasion will be Rashmi Uddhav Thackeray, Adesh Bandekar, Shiv Sena Secretary, Vijay Nahata, Shiv Sena deputy leader, Vijay Chowgule, Shiv Sena Navi Mumbai District Chief.
While speaking to some residents of Navi Mumbai, it has become evident that their main concerns are beautification of the railway station and increasing of the frequency of local trains, speeding up of the work of clearing projects like dams etc, getting funds under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission, increasing the income tax slab and controlling inflation, completing the projects related to highways etc.

Thus in the Thane LS seat, sitting Sena MLA Vichare will take on NCP's Sanjeev Naik and this poll fight is bound to be very interesting. It is becoming difficult to predict as to which between saffron party and the NCP-Congress combine will succeed in winning more votes. At present it appears that the former has an edge over the latter.
