Rajan Vichare tries to woo Navi
Mumbai residents
By Dinesh Kamath and Chandrashekhar Hendve
VASHI: Shiv Sena-BJP-RPI and Alliance’s
candidate for forthcoming Thane Lok Sabha elections, Rajan Vichare, had come to
Vashi during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
He met and spoke
to those residents of Vashi who come out to jog during that time. He asked them
to cast their valuable votes on him. Vichare received an enthusiastic response
from residents of Vashi. Accompanying him were Vitthal More, Vaibhav Naik and
others.
Vichare’s main
opponent is undoubtedly Sanjeev Naik, the sitting MP who represents Congress-NCP
alliance in this elections. During the past elections in the city, it was found
that Naik had terrific hold in Navi Mumbai. Vichare’s intention is to make
himself as much popular as possible in Navi Mumbai and try and snatch the
initiative from Naik. That’s the main reason why he is trying his best to make
himself a familiar face for the city residents by visiting Navi Mumbai time and
again for campaigning purpose. It is left to be seen whether this strategy of
Vichare will pay off or not.
