NAVI MUMBAI: It
was a moment of pride for the City of Navi Mumbai when the Mayor Shri Sagar
Naik launched India's first Christian Newspaper Mobile Application made by The
Christian Observer (TCO) India's pioneer Christian News Tabloid, privately
circulated since 2000.
Talking on the occasion, Dr. Jayakar Ellis, founder
Editor of TCO News, he said "I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for enabling us
to make this app which will reach out to lakhs of Christians all over the
world. As we believe in 'Connecting the world to India', this will enable us to
let the community know of all that's happening not only in the local level but
also State, National and all over the world."
"We have been requesting the Mayor of giving the
Christian community our own hall under the name of Mother Teresa and we are
pleased to say that he has assured us one very soon" he added.
"It is such an honor for our City that as the TCO
was started from Navi Mumbai 15 years back so also the TCO NEWS app too has
been launched from our City too thus putting us on the International map. My
best wishes are with Dr. Jayakar Ellis and his team."
"Dr. Ellis was also following up with me for the
community hall and I am glad to announce of building one very soon" he
added
Adv. Fr. Sushant Mantri, Coordinator Bombay Catholic
Sabha, (Navi Mumbai Deanery) expressed
his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Ellis and his team on this unique
achievement and said "I am glad that now we will have regular updates
about what is happening from all over the globe."
