NAVI MUMBAI: Thousands
joined hands together under "We are one" - To Stop Hate Campaign
& Focus On Development & Good Governance - from Vashi Plaza to Airoli
on 14 March 2015 for just 15 minutes.
Talking to Adv. Fr. Sushant Mantri, Incharge, Bombay
Catholic Sabha, (Navi Mumbai Deanery), he said "I strongly believe that
the development of our dear nation fully and totally depends on the dedication
of each and every citizen."
He added "India is our motherland and that's why we
want to stand in Unity to protect her."
The above campaign was organised by the Bombay Catholic
Sabha, All India Catholic Union, National Christian Council and Other Christian
denominations of the City.
"The above chain from Vashi to Airoli was to bring
awareness in the heart and mind of every citizen that we are one. We had
children to old aged people who joined and that really made us feel so
wonderful" said Dr. Jayakar Ellis, General Secretary - India, National
Christian Council.
"I am so glad that I could be a part of this lovely
unity chain" said Angela Dsouza, a resident of Koperkhairne.
