All Is Well
All Is Well is a Bollywood family drama film directed by
Umesh Shukla and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shyam Bajaj and
Varun Bajaj and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi
Kapoor, Asin and Supriya Pathak in lead roles. The film tackles a thorny issue
with a social message similar to Shukla's previous venture OMG – Oh My God!
The film has Abhishek Bachchan as Inder Bhalla, Asin as
Nimmi, Rishi Kapoor as Mr. Bhalla, Supriya Pathak as Mrs. Bhalla, Mohammed
Zeeshan Ayyub as Cheema and Sonakshi Sinha
All Is well is about a road trip undertaken by Rishi
Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan, who are later joined by Abhishek's mother.
Abhishek's on-sceen mother will be played by Supriya Pathak. Asin also plays an
important role in the film.
The music for All Is Well is composed by Himesh
Reshammiya while lyrics are by Shabbir Ahmed (lyricist), Mayur Puri and Kumaar.
The film has songs like "Chaar Shanivaar", "Baaton Ko Teri",
"Nachan Farrate", "Mere Humsafar (Recreation of Qayamat Se Qayamat
Tak's song)", "Tu Milade" and "YOLO".
Abhishek Bachchan (Inder Bhalla) is confident and
passionate about his talent as singer / composer. He has differences with
father. He protects his family and love interest. Rishi Kapoor is shown as a middle
class North Indian and runs a family bakery business. He shares a different
relationship with son, and is not in talking terms with him but somewhere has a
concern for his son like any other father. Asin is an independent girl with
strong belief in relationships and she is Abhishek Bachchan's love interest. Supriya
Pathak tries to maintain balance in the family and Wants to see her family
prosper, and also wants her husband and father mend ways.
This is a story where entire family is on the run, being
chased by goons. It's a dysfunctional family; everyone has their own set of
issues with each other - waiting to be confronted. The journey becomes a tool
for them to confront each other and their issues. They fight with each other,
they understand each other's point of views, they get to know things about each
other that they never knew. It's a journey of fun, realisation, values and
confusion where happiness does prevail.
Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four (stylized as Fant4stic) is a 2015
superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It
is the third theatrical Fantastic Four film to be distributed by 20th Century
Fox, and a reboot of the Fantastic Four film franchise. Directed by Josh Trank,
with a screenplay by Jeremy Slater, Simon Kinberg and Trank, the film stars
Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Reg E.
Cathey, and Tim Blake Nelson. In Fantastic Four, the team must learn to harness
abilities gained from an alternate universe to save Earth from a friend turned
enemy.
In this iteration of Fantastic Four, the five main
characters are brought together to work on a teleportation device. When a
venture into the Negative Zone goes horribly wrong, they are all transformed -
Reed Richards (Miles Teller) stretches his limits as Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm
(Kate Mara) fades from view as Invisible Girl, Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan)
heats up as The Human Torch, Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell in full motion capture
glory) gets prickly as the Thing, and Victor Von Doom (Toby Kebbell) lives up
to his name as Dr. Doom. After the humans have become superhumans, the story
doesn't do much except contriving a way for the four heroes to fight as a team
against evil megalomaniac Doom, whose modest goal is to suck our planet into a
black hole. Where are The Avengers when
you need them? Oh yeah, different universe.
The Gift
The Gift is a 2015 American psychological thriller film
written, produced, and directed by Joel Edgerton, making his directorial debut.
The film stars Jason Bateman, Rebecca Hall, and Edgerton.
Simon (Jason Bateman) and Robyn (Rebecca Hall) are a
young married couple whose life is going just as planned until a chance
encounter with an acquaintance from Simon’s high school sends their world into
a harrowing tailspin. Simon doesn’t recognize Gordo (Joel Edgerton) at first,
but after a seemingly coincidental series of encounters and mysterious gifts
prove troubling, a horrifying secret from their past is uncovered after nearly
20 years. As Robyn learns the unsettling truth about what happened between
Simon and Gordo, she starts to question: how well do we really know the people
closest to us, and are past bygones ever really bygones?
Manjhi – The Mountain Man
Manjhi - The Mountain Man is an Indian biographical film,
based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi. Manjhi, widely known as the
"Mountain Man", was a poor labourer in Gehlaur village, near Gaya in
Bihar, India, who carved a path through a mountain using only a hammer and
chisel. The film is directed by Ketan Mehta, jointly produced by Viacom 18
Motion Pictures and NFDC India.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui enacted the role of Dashrath Manjhi,
while Radhika Apte played Manjhi's wife. The film also features Indira Gandhi
in its storyline.
In the 1960s Dashrath Manjhi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) lived
in a small village Gehlaur near Gaya, Bihar, India with him family including
his wife Phaguniya Devi (Radhika Apte). There was a rocky mountain near his
village that people either had to climb across or travel round to gain access
to medical care at the nearest town Wazirganj. One day Manjhi's wife fell while
trying to cross the mountain, after which Manjhi decided to carve a road
through it. When he started hammering the hill people called him a lunatic but
that only steeled his resolve further. After 22 years of back-breaking labour,
Manjhi carved a path 360 feet long, 25 feet deep in places and 30 feet wide.
Manjhi died on 17 August 2007 at the age of 73, while
suffering from gall bladder cancer in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),
New Delhi. He was given a state funeral by the Government of Bihar. The film's
postscript states that 52 years after he started breaking the mountain, 30
years after he finished and 4 years after his death the government finally made
a metalled road to Gehlaur in 2011.
The film has Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Dashrath Manjhi, Radhika
Apte as Phaguniya, Dashrath's wife, Tigmanshu Dhulia as the mukhiya (landlord),
Pankaj Tripathi as Ruab the landlord's son, Gaurav Dwivedi as Alok Jha, a
journalist, Ashraf Ul Haque as Magru, Dashrath's father, Jagat Rawat as
Shuklaji, Varadraj Swami as Gopal, Phaguniya's father and Deepa Sahi as Prime
Minister Indira Gandhi.
The film has songs like "Gehlore Ki Goriya", "O
Rahi" and "Dum Kham".
Ishq Click
Ishq Click is a 2015 Bollywood Romantic film, directed by
Anil Balani and produced by Ajay Jaiswal and Satish Tripathi. It stars Adhyayan
Suman and Sara Loren in lead roles. The film is based on the life of a
supermodel from Mumbai who struggles very hard to become a top model and a
photographer who helps her in her struggle. .
From Mumbai, a girl Sara Loren struggles too hard to
become a top Super Model and during her struggle she meets a photographer
(Adhyayan Suman) who helps her throughout her efforts and also falls in love with
her. Thus 'Ishq Click' is an intense love story. The film basically is based on
the life of a supermodel from Mumbai. So the movie starts from Mumbai.
